Yes, Edojoe (Boyd) is also making the "snake skin" (EFLA top, pants & holsters) for me ..to add, he also found the correct guns to add to the outfit!. It is looking great so far, I suggest anyone who is getting on to this HS option to get the outfit made through him. He always updates progress through emails, and also makes sure he is on the right track with you ..guy is damn fast worker with great attention to detail. I have r/worked the H2 sculpt, and just waiting to receive the outfit from Edjoe. Cant wait to get this guy completed!

I was never real happy with that particular H2 head and I'm a big fan of that site. I always meant to grab the Stargate Kurt Russell for a Soldier bash but the other head was just a bit "meh".

knuckle, I also had edojoe make me the same SMDM outfit. I am having him send it and the efla clothing when they are both ready ..really looking forward to putting those figures together!

As for your H2 Plissken sculpt, did you rework it as well? I've altered the h2 head ..making the hair more swept away from the face and did some face altering. Though it is a one-off that I would not consider casting for others. Anyhow I am sure Z would do a far superior job!

Here are some pics of what I did to the sculpt, with a mock-up outfit of clothes gathered through ebay. The jacket will be folded and glued to give the right shape and just have to replace the pants, shirt and add holsters that edojoe is making ..going to look a whole lot better with his right gear on!

Here is a WIP that edjoe sent me of the EFLA outfit. Note that he is not making the jacket for it.

Anyway back to topic, glad to see others interested in getting Snake NY/LA verions made!

No, I left mine stock. I liked the feathered sorta poochi 70's look. It's in the first issues of Sixthscale Magazine. I do however like what you did better. That is fantastic, looks even closer to Plissken

By the way, they making a remake? Or a 3rd installment

knuckle - I had a look on sixscale mag's web site but could not see your Plissken there, but I am sure you did a great job on the H2 head!

No idea about the remake, prequel or sequel lol ..seems to have stalled with Gerard Butler pulling out of the role from what I gather, or Russell himself being annoyed by anyone else playing as Snake.

I'd like this commission to progress, even through I've done a sculpt for myself, Plissken needs to be realised by the talents of pro sculptor! ..so put me down for 2 unpainted/undrilled sculpts

So that's 9 ..just one more person right?

hiya guys.. sorry i havent gotten in touch lately cause ... I FELL LIKE I WAS RUN OVER BY A TRUCK...TWICE !!! i have been sick for 2 weeks now and i am feeling much better now ..it it will only stop raining ..every things wet ...my house roof is leaking like a sive ...there water damage every where... its costing me $16,000.00 to fix it all new roof and weather proofing ..even the 2 front windows are beeing redone .. but ..lucky no 1/6 the scale figures got wet ... i spent almost the whole 2 weeks in bed ...only getting u to get the mail and eat a little and do the other nature type things... the snake plissken outfit i am making is all hand sewn and the grid pattern on his outfit is all hand drawned by me ...its made of a half neoprieen/rubber material ..that is strechable so as to give it a nice tight fitting fit and look.. its taken me some time to do this outfit cause i keep refining the outfit ..so far i have made 3 trys at it and this last one looks the best...
i was going to make it in the jump suit style but it turns out to fit pretty tight ..so it will be a 2 piece outfit ..the tightness of it ..makes the figures mussells come thru ..nicely

in order for me to even think of doing the first plissken outfi ..i would nee lots of photos of it... sofar my outfits that i am doing ..next after i finish this one... is the six million dollar man red suit...and the wolverineen s new jacket ...it will be awail befor i am free to doo any others ... and i need to finish up on kreck9s jason bourne jacket and dexters grey pants ...and the six million dollar man liesure suite for greyrabbit too..

..sorry to learn about the roofing and you've been ill! I think this thread is quite recent, though I should have shot you an email fyi - my apologies if it is of any concern, esp to post the wip snakeskin! - and I've been somewhat derailing from the OT, as this should be about the head sculpt commission first. Sorry guys to go off on a tangent with the outfit, maybe we should keep this about the head sculpt for the time being. Anyhow, thanks for posting the update here edojoe!
