Just a little freaky
I have been thinking of some european medieval/historical fantasy custom figures I'd like to put together - think knights and bandits, etc.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of armor pieces I can find are for female figures, which seem extrememly popular for the theme. I do see a couple of complete male knight figures with more complete sets of armor, however they are in the $700+ range. The rest of the male selections appear to be little more than chainmail shirts and tabards with helms. Where are the cuirass? Where are the pauldrons? Plate or leather, selection seems scarce.
I would have thought after all this time, there would be a plethora of options for piecing together a set of 1/6 scale armor like there are for reguar clothes or modern military apparel, but alas. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find male armor pieces? Is there a particular store or place to look? All of the usual places I look to have failed me (Gianttoy, OSK, Ali, Ebay, etc.)
