I would go with a Red Sonja or Belia (I think I spelled her name right?) it would have to be a PF so to keep with the size issues. I could not see myself getting a 1/5. This hurts as I know SS is coming out with a 1/5 SW line where I will pass on.

There have been a lot of Red Sonja statues. There's a Hard Hero, the Turner version, the Silvestri anniversary statue, a Joseph Michael Lisner version and a new J Scott Campbell Red Sonja. These last two are very nice, but pretty small (like 1/7 scale).

There's more than that even. Dynamite have released a ton of them over the past few years, all of them based on Red Sonja cover art, from the following artists:

Paulo Rivera
Adam Hughes (in both colour and black & white variants)
Marc Silvestri
Michael Turner (in both full size 1/6 scale and mini-statue version)
Frank Cho (mini statue)
J Scott Campbell (mini-statue)
Gabriele Dell'Otto (mini bust)
Joseph Michael Linsner (mini-statue)

On top of the variants already listed, most of them also come in countless moneymaking variations, such a 'diamond eye' versions, 'artist proof' versions, and so on as well.

Apart from the Hard Hero Red Sonja, I think that's about it as far as other official Red Sonja statues go, though there have been many kits and customs made over the years as well.

As for Belit, the only statue I'm aware of is the Hard Hero one, although I know Moebius released a 'death of Belit' kit based on the Marvel comics Conan issue #100 cover by Buscema.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Sideshow come up with as far as Red Sonja goes, especially after hitting Vampirella, Lady Death, and the most recent Lara Croft pieces for home runs.

If SS had made Vampirella look like the prototype, that would certainly have been a home run. That statue is the stuff that dreams are made of. The difference in the two is like initially thinking that she was your dream woman, but then you wake up next to her after the liquor wears off and you ask yourself what you were thinking. As far as Lady Death, the production version isn't out yet. Don't count your chickens before they hatch, Mr. Parrot.

Well that's why SS should have not gotten greedy and make lady death limited to 500 pieces instead of 750 just for more profits.

Unless your playing this as a stock, investment then why care? Yes I would have like to seen 500 but then again I have on on order. I also like to see what I order sold out, but its not something I look for in buying anything. Remember there are 749 other people that can have the same item you have, or had.

If SS really wanted to be greedy as you put it, then they would not have made 750 ex, ???? non-ex. They would have done a run of 10,000.
