Statue Lady Death Premium Format... wow :)

You and VS were just saying that you both take excellent photos that help sell more statues for SS and how greatful they are to you. And that when everyone views them that people will be blown away and run out and buy this piece. But when I express my opinion about whos photos I like, then it doesn't matter? Seriously? Cmon.

Anyways.... I love pics too. Even if I have the piece, I like to look at pics. Barbarian always created some cool ones. I just like Northers because they are so well lit. Check out his Elvira pics, they are great.

I think your mistaken, we dont take great pics! We take ok pics compared to some of the guys here.
I think VS and I are over the top excited when we get these and do our best, but I dont think you can fault someone for that.

Everyone has their favorite, mine is ComputerFly and Barb has some great pics and composition.

I think my biggest issue is time, I have 3 jobs that I do and Im a parent and still am very active in the hobby community. I try my best but I dont edit and spend as much time on a particular statue, as lets say Barb does. He doesnt post as many pics as some of us but yes they are outstanding and I have told him this in the past.

Here you will see that I buy way too many statues to dedicate an entire day just to one. Barb gets a very few each year and has this time to sit down and edit and even photoshop it the way he likes. Yes they will be much better than mine or VS hands down, no doubt about it.

SS is grateful, because I help everyone see whats real and I do it fast. Last year I uploaded the latest pics every night in SDCC just so everyone would have a good idea. SS is just a business, but they have very passionate people running it, just like you and me. They are collectors too

It may be because your a female statue collector and I buy only a few every year so not much for you to be interested in.
Every time I get a statue I take the time to do a review and take pics. Both for you guys and also to keep a good record of it for insurance etc.

I have seen your pictures and they are very, very well done. In fact I have bought a statue because of them.
Last year I was walking around in SDCC and I must have covered 8 football fields just trying to find what people requested to see and posting them took half the night sometimes after a very long day at the show. Doing this is a joy and I love being active in the community.

This lady death I wanted to get to see in person, as you know, its tough to judge sometimes how good they are till you get it in front of you. Also it will go great with my Angel of Death I think.

I believe we need more pics to be able to see how good she is, I went through here and there are only a few here so Im sure VS will show us first as his in Canada and will get his early.

BTW, for you and VS, you tend to get your statues quickly. Let's say Sideshow ships Lady Death on Monday to you (in Canada and WA), how fast do you usually get them? Like, two days?

VS is like 2 days. SS must ship bulk to Canada with a carrier, they get them out faster. I just changed over everything to FDX and thats 3 days for me to the US. California guys get them the very next day! Barb gets it the next day too, but he seems to have cut down alot since the old days.

Yea, I especially like to see statues in the middle of collections, since it gives us a good idea as scale and size.

Ok, Im going to shut up talking about pics and come back here when there are actually pics to look at! LOL

I hate it when someone gets one and comes here and say all this stuff and there is nothing for us to see!

As a rule I just take a picture of the box and item. Just one of each and I used my cell phone. Not my Nikon.

I even stop doing that for the most part. Me my feelings is I just spent $400 if you don't like my pictures. Spended $400 and buy one.

Anyway seems ssc does have them and she will be shipped next week. I have a feeling the ship didn't dock till Wednesday or Thursday.

Unless you need the money. Don't, I seen some bad ppictures and people talking bad about the snowtrooper. It came two days later and I am very pleased.

Never cancel until you have it in-hand. You can always return it with displeasure of final product compared to prototype pics as your reason. At least then you didn't throw away your NRD for nothing. See it in-hand.

I'm kinda thinking about asking for the same thing from SS, but I did it already with the Babydoll EX when I transferred the NRD to Batman. They then told me that they would only do it the one time, so I'm under the assumption that I'm s.o.l. if I want to try again

Thinking about cancelling my Ex. The statue itself looks great and the scythe in the proto looks badass, but with the exteamly long handle it just looks ridiculous.

You take excellent pics bro. I've seen them in your massive collection. I remember mines were fuzzy, with No flash. They were so dark that it can barely be seen

Yes I usually get it within 2 business days after ssc ships anything.

I really enjoy seeing his pictures. Especially all the different close ups!
