I think it's a bit too wide. Everyone is loving it, I think it needs some work. The expression is lifeless.

Isn't that a requirement of LFL? They're advocates of neutral facial expression and turn down sculpts with personality. Otherwise, we would've seen some really kickass sculpts from Sideshow.

This is a great idea because SSC listened to some of you when you wanted Han Solo to have "the finger" or Vader with the Force choke hand and there were other requests too, that SSC just shrugged off or just ignored.

Depends. sometimes they listen ( ploo kloon saber, Bespin luke Jacket, A new figure base body, Han getting a stormtrooper blaster, The helmet on the Uptai Clone, Free Taco Day)
and sometimes they don't ( Vader choke hand, The ford Finger, Bring a deceased relative to work day)
I think it depends ALOT on liscensing, As wel as cost, and screen accurateness.

Take the Mace Windu sculpt. Sideshow's prototype rocked but was turned down by LFL who wanted the more neutral sculpt for Mace. I'm sure if you do a search you'll find pics. That was also the case for Bespin Luke too.

I'm all for more guns... but I'd rather SS fix the Trooper helmet and the "Raiders" ark.

For some of the failures, there have been successes. Because of SSF, Plo Koon's saber is the right color, ANH Han included the Stormtrooper blaster (because SSF called SSC out for having had it on the product page, then gone, then back on), the Clone Trooper helmet is being reworked (though we haven't seen the result yet), the Anakin PF materials were changed on the robe.

I can't say why some things get through and some don't, but SSC does listen, so it never hurts to politely make your case if you feel strongly about something.

wasn't talkuing about the collar, but the pockets. the proto had HUGE pockets, and due to our pointing it out, they shrunk them down to a more accurate size.

There are some pics on the CTR site and MWCtoys. He looks good, but not sure if he's a pre-production or proto.

Funny thing about the gun, GG showed their ESB Lando and he's holding the rebel blaster as well
