That's a nice looking concept.
I think it would be cool to see Indy on horse with a pissed off expression. I always have this image in my head when thinking about third Indy:

This would be awesome but I'd hate to see what Sideshow would expect for a 1:4 polystone horse. This option is better saved for the new dio line assuming it lives long enough to hit all 4 films.

Or they could go totally crazy and do Indy and Henry on a motorcycle:

Both are pretty much pipe dreams but the thought of either in 1/4 as premium formats is enough to make me drool.

I think it would be quite a bit more then the Speeder Bike PF but I'd still bite if they made it work. It'd make for a hell of a display.

That moisture isn't drool, it's your wallet... bleeding. :lol

Both would easily be over 500, if not 600-700.... A ROTLA Indy on horse (I'd prefer that over the LC) and LC Indy with Henry on the Motorcycle would be something I'd consider selling part of my 1/6th collection for.... :cuckoo:

Wait.... Indy on horse would run more like 800 and the motorcycle with both Joneses would be at least a grand. :panic:

True - much much too expensive, and I'd like to display all the Indy PF's together, so a bit of consistency in size is nice :)

Make it a Dr Henry Jones + Indiana Jones PF togther in the motorcycle...don´t forget the grail diary

If anybody could afford such a PF it would be KCLasse, his collection is massive! Most impressive collectible collection I've ever seen. He even has a mini museum build for his stuff and home theatre.

now i have my mola ram premium format figure to go alongside rotla indy, and tod indy on order i've started to think about the next premium format figure.
im not too interested in a lc indy, i'd much rather have club obi wan indy, as apart from the tie nothing really distinguishes indy from rotla version.

Im intrigued to see if any more of the other characters will be made though. top of my list would be shorty, sallah and gulp .. club obi wan willie who i think would look stunning next to an cow indy (did i just say that out loud?). realistically i cant see sideshow doing anyone else except maybe henry snr and then indy variants

heh heh alot of gearheads would argue that quite a few things set him apart from ROTLA - his hat, totally different bash and specs. Jacket also different, bag strap, holster, gun, colour of pants and shirt but in all fairness it's hard to tell if you haven't researched this very carefully.

I'd like a COW indy too, but still I'd like to complete 'the set' with an LC Indy. I'd really like a Marion Figure in the ripped Well of Souls dress.

COW Willie Scott would also be very nice!! But with all the small sequin work I doubt that is possible. A Henry Sr. would be welcome.

this is true, but for that to be the case sideshow should have been alot more accurate with the raiders outfit and done their research rather than do a 'general indy outfit' for their rotla pf. Then i think doing an lc figure would be alot more appealing and interesting

The Indy Raiders PF isn't that inaccurate. Sure there are buttons on the stormflap, the jacket is a bit too short in the waist, the holster is horrible but the rest I think is pretty much spot on. With a little paint and some adjustments, it's really quite accurate.

I have to strongly disagree... the color of the jacket doesn't even need to be brought up... but the pants and shirt are off in color as well.. ( they did do a great job on the KOTCS shirt though).. yes, the holster is atrocious .. the belt is off too though.. the Raiders belt had a metal keeper, not a leather one.. and the whip keeper is inaccurate... then there is the sidebag.. again.. not so much a "Raiders" side bag as it is a general representation of a bag with a shoulder strap... to make a really good accurate Raiders PF you pretty much have to just keep the sculpted parts and ditch the rest for custom pieces... at least just paint you jacket if anything !

key words being a general representation. thats how i see the figure, its not raiders specific (except the hat, idol and base obviously) but more of a general representation of indy

Still, I respectfully disagree.. and I've been collecting my Indy costume stuff for more than 15 years.

You can only get so much for 2-300 bucks. I don't know if you guys are members of the Club Obi-Wan forum but the colour of the pants and shirt is discussed at great length there. The only pants and shirt that are spot-on colour-wise were made by the late Noel Howard, only recently has Anthony Magnoli of MagnoliClothiers.com been able to reproduce a pair of pants in the 'right' Raiders colour.

Even though you think you have the right colour, it will change in different lighting. You can never be movie accurate only scene accurate.

I don't think you can expect Sideshow to come up with the absolute perfect Indy 1/4 pants for a $270 figure when dedicated fans has put literally years and years of research into finding the exact colour of just the pants. AND still people, say - 'aren't they a bit too grey, aren't they a bit too brown? too dark?, too light?'

Sure, I've put alot of work into my Indy PF too, including painting the jacket properly dark brown and buying one of the awesome holsters you make Mfisher :) I've also modified the belt with a metal keeper and fixed the whip holder and painted the bagstrap.

But again with a little custom work, it is Raiders specific. IMO It's not just a general Indiana Jones figure.

Just look at the fedora - perfect!!! (needs a repaint) but the shape, the stovepipe look is so Raiders. The cut of the jacket, (although a bit too short) is definitely Raiders. The boots are the correct dark brown shade. The buttons on the shirt are light grey - in the other movies they were respectively dark greeninsh/brown (TOD) and dark brown (LC).

I own a real Mark VII Gas Mask bag as used in all the movies... The only thing that changes is the strap and buckle between movies. The Raiders PF bag isn't great, but I don't mind that much.

The Indy pf's and mola ram are some of the best produced. It would be disappointing if they didn't make this 1
