Thats what I thought, still I'll keep my fingers crossed! I read somewhere that sellers can't offer these for sale if they won't have them within 30 days, is that true? I don't suppose anyone here has a "spare " of each that they would be willing to part with?

Sign-up for the wait-list. Odds are you will get one that way. Same goes for Boromir.

I joined the WAIT LIST in early June for Legolas and Aragon, and called SST last week asking if I'm just hoping against hope. They told me that the figure isn't shipping until Mid to Late August and that until they close the waitlist there is always hope.....so I'm sitting in a similar boat....

You have an excellent chance of getting them off the wait list. These are more expensive than the Star Wars figures, and not quite as popular--there will be cancellations and credit card declines. (Of course, once people start to see them in person their popularity is going to go up and up.)

And no, people are not supposed to put anything on eBay that they cannot guarantee will be shipped to the buyer in 30 days or less.

More likely to get one from the waitlist right before they ship. My exclusive Kit converted the day they started charging for him. But I got on the Kit wait list the day he sold out. However the demand for the LotR figures isn't as great - you definitely have a chance.

And don't pre-buy on ebay. Prices will usually fall there when the figure ships.

I was late to the Aragorn party and got on the wait list for the exclusive a several months ago. No notice yet but I'm still hoping because I really want the exclusive. I'd let them start shipping and see but it may be difficult this late. Aragorn's been sold out for 4-5 months.

Yeah, same here. I got my Aragorn a couple of months ago, so keep the faith. It's only too late for the wait list about 7-8 months after the item ships.

I'm still on the list for the Exclusive Kit... so.. I know how you feel.

I'm on the waitlist for the SSE Anakin & Kit figures, but no luck as of yet. Of course, the Star Wars license is more popular, so hopefully you'll be able to score an Aragorn & Legolas.

I just check my status on this and I have good news to you (may be )

I got on the wait list on the 14th January and like 1-2 months ago it got converted. Hopefully yours would be converted as well.

I know SW is much popular than LOTR, but if you ask my personal opinion, SS's LOTR figures are much more better than the SW 12" ones.

That's good news. Hopefully I'm one of the next to get converted. I have the regular on order and will keep it just to be safe. I also like what I've seen from this line more than the SW 12" so far. Legolas and Boromir are as close to perfect as a 12" can get.

Chances keep getting better, I just cancelled my exclusives for all the 12" LOTR figures. I thought they looked great but the more I thought about it, I'm just not a huge fan. I loved the movies but I can live without the figures, especially when the wallet is feeling the bite of the comic con exclusives, the Star Wars 12" figs, the Hot Toys and Medicom preorders, the Premium Format stuff and the Buffy and Angel 12" line. So luck may be on your side a little further all thanks to me.
