Oh i didn't even realize that all I saw was it said Alex Lol yeah true cause she's CAhobbit on here. I posted her comment to me on three Turtle threads but didn't know about this one. She said pretty much the same thing adding that they have put their stuff on holdNo. 'CAhobbit' is her Freaks tag.
I asked earlier to stop guys getting excited about a Sideshow product that won't be available, any time soon.
Yeah SS will be distributing these for Prime 1 tooNotice how she specifically stated "New films"......

No Sideshows license pertains only to the comics. Which is messed up because they could easily do PFs in that format and such a piss off. They've said that they've put a hold on their stuff for now.I was more making reference to the fact that maybe sideshow has pieces in production from the older films or more comic related statues and she slyly hinted at it. It would be awesome if that were the case.
The pictures in the OP are of the work Legacy done on the movie.
Prime1 are producing similar 1:4 statues which will be distributed by Sideshow.
Legacy Hulk Maquette is 'Less Than 50' with no plans to produce more...Love these. but yeah, same pose as Prime 1 except better with the real fabric etc. better bases too. Prime 1 always overcharges, you have a better chance with Legacy Effects as they seem to charge more fairly for statues (see Ironman 3 statues). And those have light ups etc. so a "basic" turtle mixed media statue should (in theory) be at the price range of $400-$500. LE Hulk was Huge so thats why he was damn near $700 shipped. (still HATE that that one is an open edition, they're still cranking them out with no end in sight!)
Dude Legacy is not going to sell these maquettes. When they sell stuff they do it through SS, if Prime 1 is doing statues based on these exact same maquettes it makes no sense. Especially since Sideshow would carry both Prime 1 and Legacy's identical figures?Love these. but yeah, same pose as Prime 1 except better with the real fabric etc. better bases too. Why can't someone release the 1990 turtles as maquettes?
How many long time fans are gonna spend thousands on these new turd designs.

Aparantly.
Prime 1 has confirmed that it will be carried through SSC. Legacy has not said they will be selling this. It is not unusual for a company to post the maquettes of work they've done on Facebook. If Legacy also sells it it'd be odd for two companies to sell the same maquettes don't you think?SS backs it, but it it still Legacy effects. THIS I KNOW. SS also backs Prime 1 STudios, so it boils down to which company is in tighter with SS to sell their statues through SS. it's anyone's guess which statues will be up for sale from what company.
