I hate that soundtrack... when I was younger I always enjoyed the movie but would cringe whenever one of the songs would start.

Definitely prefer the re-release with the original score added back in.

I like original classic electronic music and Tangerine Dream. Though I don't have this CD among my collection.

LOVE "Is Your Love Strong Enough". I still have the 45 single with picture sleeve.

Me too!
I remember seeing the video for that before the movie came out and being very excited about it. Then in europe the movie was released with the Jerry Goldsmith score instead!

LOL me too! But I never did watch it in the theaters. I remember Nickelodeon had a behind the scenes show hosted by Leonard Nimoy that featured Legend (although I was really disappointed that they didn't include that on the DVD). I remember how awesome I thought the movie looked! But all I got to see was the video for the song. :(

I ended up watching when it played on TV and I still love the movie. I know it's not perfect, but it's so visually rich and poetic. I've got the special ed DVD and I still kinda prefer the regular American cut with Tangerine Dream and the early Darkness reveal, probably just cos it's what I was used to. I love how in his first scene Darkness is bathed in that blue light with his eyes glowing green. But I can see the validity of hiding Darkness til he steps out of the mirror.

I picked this one up on ebay.

i'm a fan of Tangerine Dream to some extent, but admit that I think this album is actually pretty bad compared to some of their others. I do like the Bryan Ferry song though.

a little to out there. I prefer stuff like the soundtrack to Thief.

The original 11 Sarabande tracks are present in their entirety! :D And then some!!! :D :rock Legend fans, No need for the old Sarabande soundtrack anymore.

Watched the Blu-ray last night. The extended directors cut isn't in great quality unfortunately. And the transfer of the US theatrical version is quite strange, very colourful and contrasted. Still great to have and the sound is much much better.
