Before The Winter Soldier started in my theatre today, they played the second trailer in IMAX 3D. Yeah, that was ****ing killer!

Yup, same here. Amazing trailer on Imax.

Still nothing in regards to his atomic breath... I'm hoping we see some tease or hint soon. So far, nothing in the video game footage either.

Looks like Rogue Play took the image down, but their site did have an image, even though they hadn't shared it anywhere.



Also, the tv spots have given me a theory on part of the film, based on all of these images.

Janjira has become a MUTO base in the years after the meltdown. They return to find it looking like a run down contaminated zone but discover no radiation. Their investigation is interrupted by a MUTO team who takes them into custody for interrogation. This is where we find Joe giving his big "send us back to the stone age" speech. While Joe and Ford are in custody, the Muto creature at the site breaks out and the MUTO group fights to keep it contained, during which time Ford and Joe get loose as we've seen shots of them at night as well in their radiation gear. The muto smashes a lot during it's escape and Joe's wounded, the clip from ET where he's asking if Ford's ok as he's hauled off on a stretcher. The Muto getting loose allows Ford the freedom to join back up with the military in their efforts to stop it.

Kids between 8 and 12 were scared lastnight during the Imax Godzilla trailer, even the adults were silent, no laughing this time out.

That 2001 music certainly grabs your attention.

2 kids next to me called out to their parents during the trailer, one behind me was hiding in his dads lap.

Sound was loud in the Imax.

I don't do many movie in IMAX because they aren't shot in it and really aren't worth the extra cost, but I'm thinking this movie will be an exception. You'll be able to better appreciate Godzilla in all of his glory when he's nearly 6 stories tall just on the screen

Same here, my local IMAX is way overpriced and not many films warrant the extra cost. I think I'll make an exception for Godzilla though.
