Started working the details today now that I've got the main body shapes and all updated, hoping now with a clearer idea of the details and things being simpler in areas than I originally thought, this'll be done in the next week or two.

Not quite, we did a Finding Nemo mural but he can inherit daddy's art. I got to do Bruce the shark so I'm happy

I painted this about 2 feet wide near the changing table, I just toned the teeth down a bit.

I removed the image, sorry, I was fooled, someone took a picture of a fan sculpture in progress and made it look like some leaked WB image.

Indeed, I thought it was a shot of the CGI model in the works since some details were inconsistent with the trailer and such, now it makes sense why

On the flip side, the fan sculpture is interesting and fun to look at, there are things I don't agree with thinking it's how he'll look but others I feel are a good glimpse.

The sculpture is an improvement so far as I can tell, at least from the spines and feet. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd put that (finished of course lol) on my shelf.

Seeing and hearing Godzilla roar in the trailer before The Hobbit gave me chills. It's amazing just how much more impactful it is in the theater.

Considering the trailer shows him leveling San Francisco, I feel like it's going to be more of Godzilla and the Mutos fighting over territory as it were, and man just hoping for the lesser of evils but beign against both.

I feel like Godzilla vs. Biollante is a great example of the relationship of man, Godzilla and the other monsters. You have Godzilla as a direct threat to humanity, you have another monster, though not as much a threat, and you have man trying to deal with both. Even though Godzilla fights Biollante, he wasn't defending earth from it, it was just incidental of two creatures existing in the same area.
