Director said this would be the largest Godzilla ever

those feet are so wrong on the last one....... :lol

I am talking about the skin texture and the "hang" that the arms have. The new poster has a more Human look to them but all other shots it is more Gator like.

Look at the right Hand in this photo

Granted these are Toys but they have that same "dead arm" look as the Gator.

But I am sure they are usable and he will destroy and fight with them so I am not that worried.

Oh yeah! Size DOES matter! The BIGGER the better for me!!! :rock

I personally like the alligator anatomy, I feel like the designers did a good job of creating a Godzilla that looks like a real animal that could existing in the world with the classic traits of Toho's monster.

I don't mind that it looks Gator like... I just am not crazy about the arms hanging at the side... I am hoping that they just don't hang there whenever he is not using them.

Doubt it, it works for still photos, but an in motion creature would look too awkward for anyone to approve him walking around all the time like that.

Crocodiles are one of the worlds greatest predators. Living dinosaurs! :rock

I wonder if they are sticking to the Godzilla is a mutated dinosaur plot or going with an underwater sea creature that has been in a trench this entire time.

I always felt like Godzilla was one of the few survivors of a deep sea/amphibious sea creature/monster and hence why he can sleep underwater. The dinosaur in KGvG '92 took so much mystery away. My imagination was way more fun thinking of other creatures that can be in deep trenches or pockets under the earth that make dinosaurs look like geckos.

"Nature has a way sometimes of reminding Man of just how small he is. She occasionally throws up terrible offsprings of our pride and carelesness, to remind us of how puny we really are in the face of a tornado, an earthquake, or a Godzilla. The reckless ambitions of Man are often dwarfed by their dangerous consequences. For now, Godzilla -- that strangely innocent and tragic monster -- has gone to earth. Whether he returns or not, or is never again seen by human eyes, the things he has taught us remain."
