Saw the trailer last night. Thought it was meh. I'll still watch it though.

Looks pretty good, but after the underwhelming Lego Batman movie I hope this can "recapture" the original Lego movie flare. Lego Batman's trailer had promise but was "meh" in the end. I came out of the theater being so disappointed with that flick...

Oddly I found the first Lego movie to be pretty uneven until Batman showed up and everything just kicks into gear, but the Batman movie itself I just couldn't get myself to like despite it being adored by critics.

The gags and references come at you at breakneck speed to a point where you don't have time to process them before it moves onto the next one. It tried a little too hard to be funny.
