LEGO NINJAGO

Anyone here buys them? Or even buys them for their kids? I recently got into LEGOs because of the new DC sets and the upcoming Marvel line. My son is all into Ninjago because of the cartoon. It's sort of like TMNT, Power Rangers, with a little mix of Star Wars which I noticed. But damn these are hard to find around my area. I was plan on getting him the Destiny's Bounty because it looks pretty cool and comes with some cool mini figures. I pretty much want this set for myself But my local LEGO store costs around $87, are they really worth that much? He already has all the ninjas and Sensei Wu and some other mini figs with the battle arena. Is there any sets recommended?

i was gonna pick up the Black car and the Blue plane, but got my hands full with the Marvel and DC at the mo

I bought my son the red motorcycle set for his birthday that is coming up. I was gonna get him the blue jet too but I told him he can't open it until his birthday or he can have the blue ninja booster pack right now to open, and he picked the booster pack because he wants to open it. He really wants the red samurai which I had to order online. After watching the cartoon with him I have my eyes set on these two sets.

Comes with the Great Devour, Lord Garmadon with 4 arms and Green Ninja that interest me

We got my nephew the Fire Temple, he loved it and i thought it was awesome too, the dragon mostly

Are the dragons solidly built? Do they fall apart easily when put together? And are they worth the price? Because that Epic Dragon set is $100+ and I'm wanting to get it

How do you like the Ninjago sets? Worth getting into? I've just been buying the mini figures with spinners and still have the red motorcycle boxed up for my son.

I'm not sure how my son will be with the set since the figures with spinners are made to fight. I'll see how he does with the red motorcycle first. But I just put the Destiny's Bounty set on hold at my Lego store, it was sold out for a while but it's a unopened return item that someone just returned. I got a 15% off coupon and a $5 VIP reward coupon and I'm thinking of just returning the 3 pack Batman mini magnet figurines that cost $15 so I can purchase this.

Didn't have time to pick up Destiny's Bounty set tonight and Lego store won't put it on hold any longer, it will probably sell by the weekend. Oh well, maybe I'll just skip it and wait for the Epic Dragon Battle set. I'm also wanting that Lord Garmadons Dark Fortress set.
