I'm trying to avoid anything non-Tattoooine. My entire SW Lego collection consists of Jabba's Palace, Skiff, Landspeeder, Falcon, and the more recent set of Podracers (don't judge me!). So I will eventually get Debarge and the Pit. My problem will be when they get to Bespin. No way will I be able to resist.

I just started buying DC sets and I think I will be a completist on them. I got the Batman 2 game for PS3 and it's just plain fun. Reminds me of the good old days of video games, before they were all trying to make you cry or **** your pants.

I judge... I judge... If the podrace don't fit (though), I must acquit... I've avoided the Falcon (again for price AND size... I've already got the full Hasbro Falcon and I'm quite happy with that representation). Bespin WILL BE the exception to my overall SW Lego theme. Saw the old one many moons ago at Disneyland and held off. Like all of those Indy Lego sets I also left on the shelf I'm kicking myself now. I was very tempted when I saw Palpatine's office on a sale at the end of the summer but I stuck to my guns. Now if Docking Bay 94 is released-- :horror I'm going to have to get a Falcon.

This is a second hand rumor, so take it for what it's worth, but I heard there might be a UCS Millennium Falcon coming out with light up engine blocks.

Tatooine and Old republic have become my Star Wars focus as well. I haven't gotten rid of any other sets I've bought, but I've avoided buying anything else for the past few months at least. I never thought about adding in the podracer set, though. :lol

Unfortunately everything Hoth and every ship is like crack to me when I'm looking at Legos, so this narrow focus is not easy. I was originally very exceited about the clone transport and gunship, but so far have resisted them. Just not enough space since I don't tear down after I build something. I am planning on probably selling off my entire Kreo collection, maybe then I'll have room for something else (probably Hobbit/LOTR since I have many sets unopened)

That Hasbro Falcon is excellent.

I also hang my head thinking about all the Lego Indy I never bought.

I will say this, I've never assembled a Lego set and thought, "what a waste of money." I think the interactive nature gives them a value you don't get from a lot of open/pose/display collectibles.

I have most of the GI Joe Kreo's and a few of the TFs. The Joe sets are WAY better. I love them.

I wanted to go uterus deep on LOTR but just never got to it. I have a couple. I really need to get Bag End before it's gone.

Also having a hard time resisting the gunship.

I got the KREO Enterprise for Christmas (after I hinted pretty strongly to my sister that I might like it when it fell to $16.99 on Amazon). I'll have to say, it's really pretty decent. The minifigs are horrible -- just horrible -- but the actual bricks seemed a lot more like LEGO bricks than other "knockoffs" I have tried (Mega Blocks, I'm looking at you). For the price they were going for, it's hard to go wrong.

In other news, I have a birthday coming up at the start of February and had thought about asking for the Orthanc set, but it seems like the Simpsons house will be available to LEGO VIP members starting on the 17th, so I think I may go for that instead.

I've been playing Lego LOTR and now I really want a Bag End set. Kicking myself for not going back and buying the one I saw on clearance for $35.

I've built a few of the Kreo Transformers sets and the bricks work really well but the quality of plastic in them was cheap.

Well, I needed to test out the video feature on the new forum at some point. Now is as good a time as any I suppose.

I recently got the Lego Batman 2 game from Kohl's for about $14 and I completely agree. It's a ton of fun and probably responsible for the recent DC sets I purchased.

I have a few LOTR sets. I wish I could get more, but I'm usually not super excited about building them. The grey and brown bricks get a little boring sometimes. I wish I could find some more on super sale. I think the $17 Black Gate I found at Target was a one-off.

Kick yourself twice. :lol
I wish I could find one at that price.

I actually love the minifigs, but I like some meat with my potatoes; its the damn sets that have left me cold. I have Everyone in vehicle mode cause their robots just seem too meh. I actually thought about keeping all my Joe/TF minifigs, but figure I may as well focus on lines that I enjoy totally.

What happened with the Bag End was that I found a lone one at the ghetto Walmart by my work. I hid it in the clearance section because I didn't have the money, had to wait a few days until Pay Day. Well when I went back it was gone. They had redone the Clearance section and must've moved it to the front. Stuff at that store usually sits for a while too.

With the Kreos, I sold all the TF sets and bought the 2 minifigure 5-packs. The figures are the best part of that line.

I need a ghetto Walmart :lol

Thats too bad, that would have been a nice score.

Is there any other kind?

Hahahaha, speaking of ghetto WalMart...

Its a good thing Madcow set you up. When I did finally get to WalMart all those pre Christmas Catwoman sets were gone, but they rotated in a bunch of Kreo sets.

The semi trailer they stored them must leak bad, they literally look like they left them in the bathtub. They boxes are waterlogged and exploded and WalMart is discounting them... a whopping dollar. :lol

I should have taken a pic, it looks worse than a pile of crap at a garage sale and they have them just piled up on their shelves. Will definitely get a pic next time I'm up there.

My C-3PO from the escape pod set took a shelf dive and broke his hand. What a bummer. :(

D'oh! That sucks, sorry dude. :(

I still need to get an R2 and 3PO so I can build my Falcon.

Is there any other kind?

I'd like to say no but I've been to some really nice Walmarts and some HORRIBLE ones. I usually use the term "ghetto" if it's actually IN the ghetto and this one is right on the border. Plus it has the worst managed Toy section ever. They don't even stock Star Wars figures... NONE!

And I still have the Catwoman set for you. I'll get it out this week, I promise!

Damn...

I remember long ago going to a WM upstate, when there were none in the NY/NJ area. It was really clean and impressively stocked. I found some hard-to-find Hasbro SW figures and handed them to my friend Beth. I told her that if she gave them to my friend Donny, he would marry her. He did! :lol

Walmarts in NJ...I fell like I'm going to get jumped. It's the worst example of every human category, just loitering and letting their kids run around and throw ****. I had to return a shelf there the other day and stood in line for ten minutes behind a guy who was returning $1.00 worth of opened Sour Patch Kids. WTF?!

Sadly, I have to agree... I miss the Walmarts in PA.

I bet R2 did it.

After years of 3PO's annoying babbling, I'd throw his *** off too. :lol

My wife made the mistake of getting me the lego falcon for Christmas and now I'm hooked, since then I've bought the Tie Fighter, X-wing, A-wing and waiting on a Y-wing to be delivered. Decided I'm going to only get OT ships otherwise there is way too much to buy!
