so ... I have been up all night in pain and the night pretty much sucked !.
It gets to 9 am .... and the buzzer goes in my flat. I pick it up and I had had no sleep at all.
" Hello ? ". I said.
" Its the postman ".
I wondered what it could be since I didn't expect anything... at least not for a few more days anyway.
So I go to the door and open it rubbing my eyes trying to stay awake.
He hands me a small envelope and I suddenly notice the name of the person who had sent it.
I'll tell you know , looking at that name on that envelope worked better than any damn alarm clock waking me up !.
Holy crap !. It was from " LES WALKER " !.
I felt like punching the postman out of excitment but instead I ran into the other room screaming like a little girl and probably waking up all the neighbours... but who the hell cares !? , its from Les !.
I ripped open the edge of the envelope with a pair of scissors and opened it up to reveal a small note saying ....
" To Tay , enjoy this one my friend !. ".
Awesome. I put the letter down and then looked down to see a small item wrapped in tissue paper.
I put my hand in and pulled it out trying to hide my excitment.
I knew what was in this white tissue and I knew how awesome it was..
As I slowly unravelled the tissue... the sculpt started to appear !.
HICKS IS HERE !!!!!.
I could of waited for this for 80 years !. I don't give a crap , tis thing is off the hook !. Holy crap !. MEGA MEGA MEGA MEGA MEGA AWESOME !!!!.
Its like a mini Micheal Behin !!.
I ripped the crappy Jerry Springer look a like head off instantly ( and broke the lock on his chest , will be easy to fix though
) and placed it on my figure , just balancing for now.
Holy crap , its like one second its a turd , and then its gold.

I could not be happier with this head !. Les ... you are a genius.
If anybody is waiting for anything please please please hold on...
Les's work is amazing !. Its like the head keeps looking at me.. in fact its scary.
I have my most wanted 1/6 figure ever now Les.

Been a looooooooooong night! Ma finally left the ER at 6am after getting there at 9:30 last night.
(quick shout out to ANY EMT folks: YOU GUYS ROCK! I saw some BAD stuff last night! A guy ODing on cocaine puking up blood and his girlfriend kicked out of the ER, a kid getting stitches in his foot, helped to calm him since I know that fear myself...and some other scary stuff, all around us as the night went on...and on...and on...and those ER guys kept on...heroes all!)
No absolute news about Ma yet. She MAY have a blood infection of some kind, or it may have to do with her conjestive heart disease. Our old Cardiologist has moved to Tennessee, so we are working with a new guy that doesn't know Ma's history (How many times can this happen in one year!???
). Anyway, We should KNOW something later this afternoon. She is in a room and is fed at long last, and is at least comfortable now.
I took my dad back and cooked a huge breakfast and went back to check on her. I am now home, and am about to sleep a while before going back this afternoon.
WORK related stuff:
Somewhere later today, I WILL post my sale. Meager though it may be.
Hope there is some stuff in it for some of you.
Very tired but will be back. Thanks for the prayers and all. And emails and PMs.
Got a lot straightened out about the Jokers. Need a few more prefs yet and most all will be where I can categorize them when I get to them next week or so.
Will update more head info as I can. There is a LOT in progress and almost ready to be shipped out, some ready, so look for emails those that do go out.

I just got my Hicks and Hudson heads!
Wasn't expecting them so soon, I thought they would be arriving around wednesday, so it was an awesome surprise! Excellent way to kick off the week.

UPDATE on Ma: She has Pneumonia. Just found out.
Scares hell out of me to be honest. She was shaking all night in the ER and now this news. It had to be 60 degrees in that damn ER, and now this. Hope she will be ok. She has been pretty weak lately, and I knew something was wrong with her. Her color was not good, and she has had trouble breathing. Not getting enough oxygen etc.
I can't afford for things to go wrong with her now, now that I am close on finishing so much of the work where I can share more time with her when I am done.
Just scared I guess. Gonna spend time up there today guys. Will post sale and ship in the next few. Might still get the sale up later today if time permits.

Les, frankly, i couldn't care less if i got my stuff a year from now if that meant you spent more quality time with your ma.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your mom Les. I've been in more ERs than I'd like to twice with my wife due to food poisoning and one of those times the ER was so full they were just treating people in the hallways, we spent nights in the pregnancy ER section twice as well, and then once when I almost died and twice more with my daughter. Every time I've appreciated what the ER workers go through but man it does get frustrating when you're waiting. i'll never forget the one time when there was an attendant there wanting to help but because he wasn't certified or something like that he couldn't start the IVs. he looked miserable and i think he was near the breaking point of starting IVs and not caring about the consquences to himself.
