I will need to get a house so I can display better each statue with more room and on proper glass displays too.

Working on that. Besides its not fun having to commute back and forth from one place to another, so that I can enjoy these pieces.

Some nice bits in there reminds me of my collection with the mcfarlane aliens, terminators and matrix figures:)
Sold a lot of my 7 inch figures to make way for 1/6 scale customs but still have love for them:)
Might build a custom base for my sentinel and apu to do battle with each other.
Looks like your running out of space to display stuff in some of the shots.
Know that feeling got alot of mine boxed up.
Great queen bust;)

Thanks.

I will have to go that way at some point and get rid of some more Mcfarlene figures too. Actually now that I think about it, I already did. I bought, I don't know why, some Samurai Mcfarlene figures back in 2001, and got rid of them a few years ago.

I guess I liked them back then.

Yeah I was gunna use parts on those to make samurai predators but never got round to it and sold all but one.
Very nice figures in there own right.

I checked your collection, cool stuff, always good to put our own touch to a model.

Oh, BTW, before you bleach the jacket of "Go ahead, make my day", I would put it under the sun, between a curtain and a glass window facing the sun, for weeks at least.

The sun will slowly wear down the color and even the textures, making it look more aged, etc.

That might help.

Cool collection Alex. Have you displayed that 1/12 Ferrari F50?

Damn your T-Rex and Bracchiosaurus are insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always wanted that JP 'When dinosaurs ruled the Earth' diorama :monkey2

PS: I knew Sarvesh was going to trip on your cars and trains!

Hey, quick question man... where did you get those acrylic cases? Are they custom made? Let me know, I'm looking to get a few.

Great stuff Alex. I hope you're in an earthquake free zone, I'd hate to see all that stuff come down on you.

Ok will give it a go:)
Cheers if I had of done that when I started making the figure 2 years ago it would be just right now hahaha.
Got a bit sidetracked on him but he's on the list of to do's:)

Acrylic cases, yes, you have quite a few options:

1) The case that holds N scale buildings next to the Terminator T-800 in the picture, the size of a soccer ball is dirt-cheap. It will cost between $12-$20 bucks. You can get different sizes at Storage Solutions.

Here is the address to the one I go: 2329 Yonge St, Toronto, On M4P 3J6, Canada (Intersection Yonge & Eglinton 1 block North of Eglinton).

2) The Cases for my Tamiya cars 1/12 scale that will fit 2 or 3 small statues such as Jabbas’s Band are from Auto-Art. They come with a black or Carbon Fiber pattern base and are $65.
You can get them at Prestige Auto Art & Gallery Gift at 890 Yonge Street, Toronto Ontario M4W 3P4.

This reminds me, I called him a few months ago to see if he had stock, and he didn’t but was expecting some in, so I will have to check on him, I wouldn’t mind 2 or 3 in the closet since they take time to get in.

3) Then you can get some cases from just about any hobby shops, for around $50 that is made to fit 30-40cm battle ships

4) And finally, yes you can customize cases, but I must warn you they can get expensive. I got a few made for me. I checked yellow pages and found one shop in Toronto. I got one for the Terminator’s Arm 1:1 at about $120, one for the MR Millenium Falcon at around $270-$320 but that one was huge. All this was back in 2007-08 prices.

Hope this helps a bit.

:wink1:

I guess it happens to all of us, we missed on some statues and are now kicking ourselves in the nu#@! for that.

I missed out on the Terminator T-800 Endo Skull Chrome version 1:1, when at $750 CAD. That was BAAAAAAAD!!!

I don't want or like that much the battle version currently available. Not gona fork out 2k-3k for one in the after market.
