I do accept your opinions by the way, if you read my posts "You make good points", "Thats the way I see it", I'm not arguing am I?
And also, I never said I dont find any other races attractive, just that most people I do find attractive are white, I think that people like Beyonce Knoles and Michelle Rodriguez to be very good looking. And also, noone ever said men only found white women attractive.

I don't think it was all about 'white' girls at all, just that a couple of Russian girls got mentioned. There were few pictures posted, and some were caucasion, but most of the conversation concerned Brazilion girls, if I recall. I know the only ladies I noticed were Rod's lovely sister and girlfriend (YOU DA MAN, ROD).

DS, you are gorgeous; and every white friend I have would be ten times more attracted to you than any of the skinny white girls that were mentioned. You make valid points, but maybe too quickly.

HE, I don't take offense to that, because you are a fifteen year old child who has yet to broaden his horizons about what you feel, or find, is attractive. When I walk down the street, I get noticed by every race of man there is around, but where I live, of course, the vast majority are white men.

It may be that what we find attractive are based on a few things, such as

How many different cultures surrounded us when we grew up.


I don't limit myself to finding 'one race' attractive just because to do so, would simply be too limiting for me PERSONALLY. However, I do have a PREFERENCE for what is vastly different than myself. I am tan, with black hair and black eyes, so I have usually gone for what is blond, blue-eyed, and Anglo Saxon ( CAN WE SAY LORD OF THE RING MEN??????????????). I guess maybe that might be the right word...I 'prefer' white dudes but would not limit myself to just dating them, or not finding men of other races attractive.

Yes that's what I MEANT. LOL. My words got ahead of me. I have a preference myself for 'white men' who are fair, blond, and blue-eyed, but I'm open to dating all races. I think I started to get highly annoyed when all I saw were these posts about Swedish women and European women and I was like, what the hell are women of color then, chopped liver???

Blond women do not get ALL the attention. Who's been the Miss Worlds for the last years??
Miss World Statistics From the years 1990-2004 only in 2003 ONE blond woman (Chris de Burgh's daughter) won the contest, in the 14 years exotic women won.

Personally, I find the South American women the most beautiful ones. Jeez, their eyes sparkle and their legs never seem to end.

Regarding relationships, I would suppose it is quite natural to be attracted to women/men of your own race. After all, it's rather things you have in common (cultural and social backgrounds) that knit you together, than things you don't have in common. It's probably also got to do with feeling more secure and comfortable (know what to expect) with one of your "own". Whatever!

The very first picture in this thread shows an Asian lady (My wife and soul mate). I used to be attracted only to American women until I spent several years in the far east, then my preferences were modified somewhat. I think it depends mainly on the culture we grow up in but in these times all races are moving and living all over the world so the cultural exposure is changing too. I see nothing wrong with a person's preference of the opposite sex being limited to one race or group if that makes them happy. However most will agree that all races and cultures have beautiful women and handsome men.:speech

I wasn't talking about your first post, Gondor59. And I admit that I was being facetious about 'blond bitches' because I grew up in a culture that made women of color feel and look ugly because we HAD TO COMPARE OURSELVES TO THOSE STANDARDS OF BEAUTY! EVERY SINGLE DAY! I use the word ***** freely as I curse quite often.



But it was the other posts that were lamenting on and on about Swedish women and all that stuff and I was like, people, broaden your horizons.

I don't stick to just dating ONE race, sorry. I would rather LEARN about other people's cultures...it's one reason I've always made it a point to be a Renaissance woman of sorts and to know about ALL different cultures so I'm not just limiting myself to one. I like to get to KNOW OTHER PEOPLE and their cultures, styles, and personalities. If I had to stick with just Asian men, I'd be bored to death, as I already am aware of many things about my own culture.

But I do have preferences, and part of my reason I am so fascinated with LOTR is yes, I have always gone for what is DIFFERENT than me...

Oh I had forgotten to mention Aishwara Rai, the great Indian beauty. And Goldberry you are right about one thing...LOL...the last winners of contests of beauty have been Latina and brunette.

I don't think all this has anything to do with race.
I think it's a question of what you prefer... as a Dane I'm near Sweden (about 200km)... I wouldn't notice a swedish girl... why? - I see litterally hundreds of "swedish looking girls" everyday, because danes look the same!

In Denmark on the other hand you don't see many beautiful black women... and I can tell ya - if a Beyonce type came walking down the street with a piece of a** like that! - trust I would be all like .... 'cuss I never see those kind of girls here... but white euro chicks? - all the time... Asians is more common here, but DS, if you was walking down the street here - trust me you would get the good ol'
So my theory is: You think you have a preference and that's usually what you see everyday, but if a girl of another race has "that something", for me a perfectly round butt (there I've said it) then I couldn't care less from where in the world the girl was from.

Thank you Nolight, I appreciate that. You see, I found that in countries such as Netherlands, I got noticed a lot there because of my very different looks. Now, blondes and fair skin would really go over big in countries where people are primarily darker, such as Japan. My friend is blond and he almost got his hair ripped out by ladies wanting a lock of his curly hair LOL!!

For me it is DEFINITELY opposites attract.

I didn't mean to sound so harsh about judging people who prefer European or white women, what I meant was that I feel it's important in ways to broaden your horizons and try to date other people of different cultures, and that for me, while I do have preferences, they are not 'set in stone' preferences.

VTX , I don't think people here are fighting or bickering, just expressing their thoughts about what they think is attractive about women, DS indeed have a more emphatic way to comment on things but that's ok. I hope you can ignore some stuff on the board you may dislike and post some more , you've indeed been away lately.

DS, I think everybody likes what's beautiful doesn't matter the race, I have dated a japanese girl once, and think she was very pretty and attractive, latina women like JLO or like Nolight said black as Beyonce are gorgeous. I personally prefer my girlfriend's type which have brown hair. I dunno if the majority prefers blondes but if they do that's fine, everybody has the right to choose what they think is the most desirable. I'm sure there are enough people for each type.
