I would expect a comment like that, and I don't take offense to it. You're absolutely right about a lot of women who are beautiful who are insecure about the way they look, but I'm not one of them. Being proud of the way I look might be perceived as unnecessary vanity, and I respect those whose opinions might be as such....but, I think you are mistaken in my case. I am a personal trainer and a former model, and those pictures were modeling pics which were tastefully and beautifully done. Quite honestly, they are actually the only photos I have of myself from recent times.

I think you need to reassess your views on a woman who is proud of the way she looks, but more importantly, also understands that physical beauty is really very transitory and meaningless...it has spared me nothing in terms of heartache, headache, and emotional pain. True beauty comes from within, and that is the beauty I like the project when I work out and train people....the physically fit, healthy, vibrant, and strong physical ME.

I meant no offence by it either. Inevitably when pictures such as yours are posted, the lewd comments/images will follow as illustrated above.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by the 'reassess' bit (I haven't got the hang of quoting people) but what I was trying to convey is that, these days, scantily-clad females/nudity are so commonplace that sometimes it is nicer to see someone in something that leaves a little to the imagination.
As for the confidence thing, I agree that it comes from within but a good exterior can help to develop a confident interior.

I would be proud too of looking like that, I'm sure it takes years of dedicated training etc, to get the figure/looks you have.
Personally I applaud your openness and confidence ,if I looked like that, I too would not be afraid to show people either.
IMO from what I have read through your posts you seem to be a strong confident woman and if you want to post a picture of when you were modelling or when you were fishing, thats up to you.You don't have to explain your reasoning to anyone, if you are happy with it, thats all that matters.

This thread it titled "what do you look like????", therefore it is intended to get photo's of people, we are all different,different characters and looks. Thats what makes this forum so inviting and our differences make it interesting. Lots of other people have put photo's on, why shouldn't you?!!

I thought I should post a picture of me and my lovely wife and it was hard to find a picture of us together as usually one of us is taking the pictures and aren't together so I dug this one up from 4 years ago. My wife hasn't changed but I have grown fatter, grayer and more hair, EVERYWHERE !!!
I tell my wife I am just trying to look more like Santa Claus for my Grand Kids and I am expecting another one in August..
