It's a 2008 Slash Tobacco Burst Signature Gibson USA model (as opposed to Custom Shop)

I feel you - I'm from Pakistan and while I lived there, the best guitars you could buy were 2nd hand Jacksons... not my cup of tea, though I love me some old Megadeth. But I would NEVER buy a guitar in the UK, total rip off. I've bought all my guitars from the US while travelling or through relatives.

This particular one I bought on eBay from a US seller - I wanted the Slash model badly but the flame in the wood varied massively from piece to piece, and I didn't want to order 'blind' from a US retailer. I saw this particular one on eBay with its amazing 3D flame and I had to have it despite reservations about buying a new guitar off eBay. Worked out great.

Cool, now when you mention Megadeth I have to say my fav metal band which had my fav guitarist Marty Friedman. I picked up his Ibanez SZ guitar when I went to visit Japan around 3 years or so back with my parents. Saw music stores which drove me crazy, but ah well... that SZ is my No. 1 Guitar :rock

Bro you killed that solo! One of my all time fave solos. Marty Friedman is an incredible guitarist... and that is a nice guitar too! As you can guess my true guitar hero though is Slash:
