Had both the SS one and the HCG. Prefer the HCG skull. It looks more like arnold with its head shape rather than the streamlined SS bust.

also is this the one you are referring to, they have for sale at BBTS

That's the one! :)

I've seen two versions of battle damaged, the one that's on sale there is the "better" one I think, picture is tad too small..

One version of battle damage has paint over skull in the SS BD fashion, just paint over some parts and it doesn't look too effective, teeth are a bit more yellow then Clean one..
Second version has thicker paint work, and teeth are painted as well, gaps between teeth are minimal, and whole thing looks much more impressive, really gives you feeling that skull has been on battlefield for quite some time!

Funny it's on sale there, and for such great price, because I rarely see BD one on eBay, and when there is one up, it's usually pricey!

Apologies they are not the best of pics and the teeth always look strange in Photos but they do not seem like that in reality .

If you could get the base of the sideshow version on the ICONS one..it would be AWESOME and the BEST!

So I voted Sideshow since I think its better than the HCG version overall.

No problem :)

It's just my opinion, and observation from keeping the track of the skulls around :)

I think you'll love it! And please, post pictures once you get it, there aren't so much pictures of BD HCG Skull around!

This is a post made in 2006 by srne on the StatueForum about Toynami (HCG) Endoskull:
That specific head has gone through several versions. The original T1 head had very minimal detail in the side temple inserts. It was reworked for the sequels to what this head is. Steve Johnson's shop (XFX/EDGE FX) retooled an original pull of the T2 head, added the neck/base and this piece is the end result. LFS was involved with it while Steve's company was working on it. LFS does not actually manufacture these. At least they didn't at the time we retooled this at Edge Fx.

It is VERY accurate in that sense, although to the sequel versions, not the first film. It's about 95% accurate to the first film.

If you can get it on the bay for $350-400, go for it.

I worked on this version very briefly at Edge FX. I've also worked on other Endo related products at SWS, and have handled both versions.

The overall piece has changed VERY little in all it's generations.

Couple more HCG shots:
