So this has been on 2 weeks now on HBO, it's Ricky Gervais's new show starring Warwick Davis in a sort of Extras like situation.

I wasn't too sure about the first episode, but last night's was amazing. Warwick at the Star Wars wedding wearing a hollowed out Teddy Bear, and the speach he gave, as well as charging the kid with a tumor for his autograph were great on his own, but then when he teamed up with Johnny Depp it was just incredible. Extra's guest stars were always really well used and it seems like it will be the same here. If you haven't seen this one yet, check out last night's episode, you won't be dissapointed.

And the animosity over the Golden Globes between Gervais and Depp was brilliant.

I love this show. Last night's episode was especially brilliant between Johnny Depp, the secretary trying to convince him to hire himself out as a chimney sweep and the offensive wedding toast. It's a great one-two punch Eastbound and Down, dumb funny followed by smart funny.

thought it was lazy and poorly done.......only stand out for me was neeson

That was the first episode, and it certainly wasn't "poorly done", as I said I wasn't too sure about it at first either, but the humor picked up 10 fold in the second.

In fact if you haven't seen it yet, I reccomend watching the 2nd and then going back to the first, theres nothing you can't do without. Especially since most of us here already know who Warwick is.

Yea, the first was weak - but the second was pure Gervais humor. And Davis really is a great comedic actor, a side of him we've never really gotten to see. I'm glad I watched the second episode, because based on the first I would have never gone on.

Liam Neeson was hilarious in the first episode.

Btw, An Idiot Abroad is great too. Poor Karl. :lol

Yea Idiot Abroad is another good one, reminds me of the old show Wanderlust that use to come on after Insomniac on Comedy Central.

Theres also more Ricky Gervais Show coming, the animated one that also features Karl.

I've just started reading Warwicks autobiography and it's a very entertaining read . It's good to see that "Life's Too Short " going down so well as Warwicks a genuinely talented , funny guy and deserves the success that will no doubt come his way .

I liked the first episode and LOVED the 2nd, Warwick is great.

As far as An Idiot Abroad, I never laughed so hard, Karl on top of the plane screaming was hilarious.

An idiot abroad 3 the short way round :lol Cant wait!

I can't wait for either of these, I'm glad to hear Karl will be doing another AIA and the animation in The Ricky Gervais Show is wonderful as is the content.

I really enjoyed Life's too short, but i've loved everything Ricky and Steve have done together.

If any of you haven't heard them already then you should check out the old Ricky Gervais XFM radio shows, pod casts and Guide's to series, these are where Karl is at his best imo.

I've really enjoyed the first two episodes... Neeson was gut-punching funny...

"I got AIDS from an African prostitute." :rotfl:lol:rotfl Improv indeed.
