If this guy is a questionable buy at PF size, why on earth are they making him in life size? They may sell out if the edition size is around 50.

This will probably end up in gaming shops not collectors’ houses. Looks sweet but hell no!!!!!! Maybe for $300.

As so many have said, i feel this may have warranted a 1/4 scale purchase... but life size is a easy pass.

If I had the money for this I would buy it in a heartbeat. Malgus looks so badass. I hope this doesn't mean we won't be getting a 1/6th scale and PF of him in the future. I think I'm crazy enough to buy him in Legendary Scale.

I would have bought this as a statue or PF, but as a life size.... No way. Don't see SSC selling many of these. Maybe it'll be a prize next spook.

This is the MOST retarded decision they made since the "clean" 3PO bust.

Someone at "head office" is smoking some serious cones...maybe it's the same stuff Lucas is on?

i don't agree about the C3PO clean version... options are nice to have.

a life sized statue of Darth what's his name is questionable however... what's next, a $300 Bigfoot statue?

yikes.

wow, I thought this was an april fool's joke. I didn't know they were serious. Oh well, congratulations to the warehouse workers who only have to move this in the corner of the warehouse, where it'll stay forever

seems like they are trying the best they can to demystify vader
this guy should be a gentle giant bust at best

One word.......

WHY?

because they probably split the cost with EA and/or Bioware making it relatively cheaper to produce.
They probably assume also that gamers can be rabid fans which is true but for a LSF I'm not sure.

On a side note, isn't the GG statue that's in the collector a 1:6?

I highly doubt they are splitting thep cost with EA. SSC are paying a licensing fee to produce statues.

One word.......

WHY?

probably has already been created by someone else and they're just picking up rights to reproduce and don't have to invest much into the development.
Kind of the same way they get movie maquettes which were created by the movie EFX team and they just reproduce them.

... just a guess tho ... :monkey1

with the amount of funds being allocated to video game promotion, i suppose this can be justified. we may not purchase it, but we will talk about it... we will most likely be seeing it at conventions, and it will definitely draw attention to the character.

it is all relative...Battlefield 3 has a promotional budget of 100 million dollars. perhaps producing a collectible such as this makes more sense than some billboard on the I-5 or banner down the side of a building (i use these examples as i have seen both this weekend for Battlefield 3).

I wish I could laugh at the first person to shell out $5000 for an unheard of character with a crazy over the top design...but that only means they are more successful than me....:lol :(

They should've gone with the Darth Vader LSF ,I'm pretty sure there would've been a lot of buyers for that bad boy.
