Thanks, there's actually three Landos in that figure.

His head is from Sideshow's Lando Skiff Guard.

His shirt is from Sideshow's Cloud City Lando.

And his trousers are from the new HT Cloud City Lando.

When the HT arrived the old Sideshow was retired, but not before donating his trousers! I left him on a stand wondering what to do with him, and it was his shirt that actually gave me the idea. With the puffy cuffs it looked like it could be a pullover shirt of nineteenth century design.

As it happened the sleeves ended up covered by the jacket as I attempted to de-Lando him as much as possible.

@Asta Looks incredible! Really fits in well. I reckon I’m going to have to just buy the whole Skiff set for that head, you just gave me the final push.

It's a good figure in it's own right.

The un-helmeted sculpt reminded me of a cross between Donald Glover's Lando and Billy Dee Williams. I liked the expressive nature of it, and as he was standing on the shelf awaiting his fate I was imagining him with the cross bandoliers, running with a band of Mexican bandidos!

Exactly what I like about it as well - it’s got a lot of character that’s lacking from the HT sculpts that are usually thought of as better.

Also admiring your Hateful Eight figures - those are quite expensive these days!

That’s hilarious that you put SS Lando in your Western world, because that’s exactly what I plan to do with my unhelmeted head. (Think along the lines of the Yaphet Kotto character in “Five Card Stud”)

It's a small (western) world. :lol

Look forward to seeing what you do with your Lando.

Still no news from toy origins? Im trying to cancel my pre order to no luck and its too old for paypal to help out so on a scale of 1-10 how screwed am i?
I was wondering this as well.

no cancellation on my end but would like to know if Toy Origin is still getting their shipment. Thanks

Is anyone still waiting for their KG and TNS orders to ship? I've paid in full, but neither places have sent mine yet.
My KG order said it shipped Sunday but it hasn't actually moved. Tracking just shows the shipper is preparing the item...:/

Still waiting on TNS myself. Now I learned when it's anything Lim releases go to OSK. Lol I mean not saying TNS is bad because they do deliver and their stuff usually arrives in a week but in this situation Kit was best as he got them in first it seems.

I haven't kept up with the prices of anything in the collection.

Didn't like the film but thought the figures looked good. A bit like the RDR series.

Thought about getting Daisy, but didn't like the idea that my only western gal had a black eye. It seemed a little mysogynistic! SW's Sadie will be the first, as she's more stereotypical of women in western movies.

@Asta great pics and a fine collection. I'd try shooting the figures in daylight. I try to as much as possible and it does work out really well. I do also have a camera that works well in low light so I can manage to get shots with light through curtains, though the detail isn't quite as sharp.

I prefer the summer look as the coat makes his neck look too long and there doesn't seem to be any bulk in the shoulders. Keeping the gun with the missing cylinder in the holster was a good move and saves a bit of hassle.

I don't find photography much fun, so I've never set up anywhere with proper lighting. So it's almost always reliant on the flash. I think the last figure I took outside to photograph was Sideshow's Temple of Doom Indy when he released.

That must be an optical illusion, maybe due to the big beard and furry collar, as they're actually identical.

Winter Arthur has less bulk than he should have, as I had to take the shirt off to get the coat fastened. Maybe I can push his shoulders up a bit?

I went for a long time without any issues with figures. Then a little while back CC Toys' Joel and the Clicker arrived. The Clicker's base was missing, and he had a wrong hand. Then I discovered one of keys on Joel's guitar had broken off, and wasn't anywhere to be found.

Those were quite prominent issues, and Kit sorted them out with lightning speed. He'd received the replacements and had them in the post within two weeks of my email.

The missing cylinder is easier to live with.

One of the first things I almost always do, when I open a box, is to check that the figure has both left and right shoes/boots. :lol

Yup. One sixth kit and Giantoy seem to be getting their stock a lot earlier these days. I’ve also ordered the figure from TNS, while the mid beard head from Giantoy. The mid beard head has already reached the destination airport and it’s only a matter of a few days before I have it in hand. I know that TNS is dealing with some PayPal problems and many invoices got cancelled, but if they have the stock they could start shipping to those who paid in full/managed to have a successful transaction.

Same with mine.

Doesn't look like they're shipping out every day. At a guess they're getting parcels labelled with a tracking number, then awaiting collection in bulk.

Their current method, from what I can see, is Hong Kong Post Vantage (Courier Stream). It's classed as an EMS service, even though the service paid for is regular airmail. Supposed to be four working days to Europe during normal conditions, but earlier this year two parcels took a total of eight and nine days

Vantage is new service that Hong Kong post cooperate with outsource courier company, vantage maybe cheaper than EMS in some situation but it’s expensive compare to e-Express mail that we used in the old days

I hope Hong Kong post provide pick up service for all kind of packages but it seems limited to EMS only, we travel to post office everyday before the pandemic

Maybe one day we will ship from Hong Kong again if the postal service fully resume but seems it will take years to recover, there’s a new post office just 30 meter from the building I live but now I can’t use their service 🤣
