Ok so decided I like the single piece boots now more then the split ones. After having them on for a while and always pushing them down to stay flush I wanted to see how the one piece looked on the figure with the spurs so I put them together and I honestly prefer those it just has a cleaner look to them and also I noticed the size of the boot is different. The split ones have a longer toe then the one piece. Glad Lim provided two pairs so we have our moneys worth.

Completely irrelevant, but with Alan Wake 2 being announced a few moments ago, maybe Limtoys should consider making a figure of Alan (including heads from both games) when the game comes out.

Guess who decided to show up today?

It seems he must have been bouncing around quite a bit during shipping, as one of the spur holder clips was broken, and the other spur had fallen out of it's holder, nothing some superglue couldn't fix though. Other than that, everything seems fine.
And unlike some (or most) of the photo's where someone is complaining about his hat not fitting properly, I actually don't see any issues with it. It just has to be put on the right way. Which leads me to believe that maybe some folks aren't pushing the hair piece down far enough? Hard to say for sure.
Overall an awesome figure. The folks at Limtoys did a darn good job with this one. 👍☺️
It might be a little weird though? I still kind of find Lim's 1/12 scale Leon maybe a tiny bit more impressive...I mean, everything's so tiny! And the details! :rotfl

I literally just hopped in this thread to say exactly what you said, Alan wake is a masterpiece and a figure would be awesome

In the new trailer he looks a bit like Jake Gyllenhaal, so a headsculpt for the second game wouldn’t be that hard to make. Then they could add clothes from both games and accessories like his basic weapons and flashlight + what seems to be his new weapon/flashlight statue thing. Boom, masterpiece of a figure

They could just use Ilkka Villi as reference, a Finnish actor they used for the live action scenes in 1 and the new trailer for 2, they also modelled his face in control after llkka and they also remodeled Alan's face in the remake of 1 that recently came out after llkka's likeness (made a seperate thread for discussion and interest)

My box was pretty much deformed by the time it got here. But at least I figure itself is in good shape. I’ve had to put his accessories in bags. But I’m not complaining, this figure is too amazing to complain over.

Has anyone else been watching a lot of westerns since they got their figure in? I think I’ve watched more westerns in the past week than I have in the past year. I’ve watched 3:10 to Yuma twice, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, and now I’m watching Cold Mountain.

I was quite happy with my VTS figure. That was until today when i got this beauty from Lim Toys, it's honestly not even close, this new figure is perfect and looking at the VTS and Lim head sculpts side by side i can't believe i thought the VTS looked anything like Arthur. Now i really can't wait to see what the folks at Lim Toys do with the upcoming John Marston (who is my favorite character). 🤠

Don't forget about Gunsmoke. lol I also recommend Old Henry. It's a bit of a slow burn at first, but definitely one of the better newer westerns.

If you haven’t, check out The Wild Bunch and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, a couple of my favorites. The Spaghetti Westerns are top choices as well.
