Arthur skin and paint in general is just next level, as I said I have seen many things in this hobby, but today I was very impressed, have never seen as detailed skin on that scale. It looks like there are few layers and feels soft like a real skin.I have seen so many good sculpts ruined with a medium quality paint. This time sculpt and paint are both perfect!

P.S. Your art is amazing! Will spam with Likes once I'm done with my line art lol
Thank you very much! I appreciate that :D

I actually missed out on the first release of Gunslinger entirely. I joined these boards when R_R_X was saying that they were all sold out and there'd be no extras. I almost stopped looking in here entirely, but happened to check this thread one day and discover that a second batch was being made! I'm so thankful to R_R_X and his team for giving us another chance to get this figure.

My two cents:
Use your store credit for this guy (Kylo)
Shouldn't take very long to flip that figure, as he's been out of stock everywhere else for some time now.
Or maybe use it to PO another Hot Toy figure. No way he can blame stock shortages on the supplier then.
But then again, Paul does seem like a special kind of a**shat
I think that’s a good idea on that one, hopefully I can get it flipped fast, just waiting for a reply now from Paul, I sent my info and never heard back from him. It really is ******** that I have to go through all this just to get what I want.

Is there a reason contacting your banking institutions or PayPal hasn't warranted any kind of refund?

I had paid the full amount in September of 2020, it’s far past the day you can make a claim, I tried doing one the first time when there were problems with Toy origin, but there was nothing I could do, PayPal had closed the claim.

VTS is nice but there is no comparison, Limtoys is superior in every way. :1-1::love
I know right? Justin always beats around the bush in his reviews. I don't watch him religiously but I feel like he never says anything is bad. I appreciate not taking a toxic approach to the hobby with nitpicking and criticizing, but also sometimes I want the hard truth. If it's crap then say it's crap.

With that being said, VTS isn't necessarily crap, but it's not even close to the Lim Toys figure. Having them next to each other is borderline comical in comparison.

To the typical fan, it's the headsculpts that stand out. And yeah Justin rarely shoots anything down, perhaps due to his desire to keep the previews open with all companies.

The thing that'll give LIM the X-Factor boost is when they release John in all his unique glory. Then VTS will be left in the dust :)

In fact, I hadn't decided to PO the gunslinger until watching Justin's and Elbear's review.
I found existence of the figure in 2020 which was the time when I finished the first play through of RDR2. I didn't PO it at that time. It is the first 1/6 figure that I'm truly interested in, but it is pricey for me which I should think twice before making a decision. Besides, the former edition of the head sculpt didn't look appealing to me.

Two years later (2022), I thought of the figure again, and went to YouTube to see whether there was any review of the figure, and I found review video which I mentioned above. The head sculpt design is totally different, and it looks like Arthur! Finally, I made the decision and put my order.

I didn't know that if I still hesitated and didn't take action, I would have missed the last Train 😂😂
Thank LimToys for offering the second batch!

@R_R_X, I've finally had some time to ubox, acquire a few spare parts, and build both a winter and regular Arthur from the set. I knew it was going to be great, but I really have to commend you on this figure. Y'all have outdone yourselves, truley. It's hard to express how fun this figure is. I genuinely think you and your folks could become a true contender in the industry, if you wanted to go down that route. I eagerly await your next and any future releases inspired by this franchise. I hope you continue to fill the oddly-empty 1/6 x Gaming niche with tons of great figures.

Thank you for the support, the majority of those two years was spent improving the figure as much as we could, in the end the prototype and the final product can't even be considered as the same figure, I think only the knives, base terrain and logs remained unchanged, the sculpts were changed earlier on but it was the hair that we kept changing right up until a few months before the figure released, a lot of people thought we were just dicking around for those 2 years lol but we're happy with the final result even if some things could improve.

I think a lot of us that have the figure in hand can say that it was well worth the wait.

Thank you! Been a long time since the original thread when we were discussing ideas, I'm happy you like it and hopefully we can reveal more figures in due time!

I seem to hear that rumor from Facebook before!
Btw, I have watched all the posts on this board, and feel amazing that people here can keep dicussing about the figure for 2 years. I think it is because you join us, and give us faith by providing lots of information and answering our questions. Thanks again!

Well, it may be late to ask the question, but, what is the difference between +quote and reply? Just can't figure it out lol
