IGN Review - 9.0/10

Limbo is an incredible achievement. Very few games are as original, atmospheric, and consistently brilliant as Limbo. It belongs in everybody's collection. The journey may be over too quickly, but you will be entertained every minute. This is one of my favourite games ever.

Beautiful game. Only 1200 XBL points.

This game was fantastic. The puzzles, visuals and sound design were all top notch. Very short though. Completed it in one afternoon.

Did you said : Only!?? :horror

Man!, this game is too expensive for 3 hours of play :gah:

Ok,Limbo artistically is beautiful and looks good, despite simple mechanics, and 2 buttons action gameplay ... ,but definitely this game does,nt deserve 1200mp because is too short
I was talking yesterday with a friend about the game and we came to the conclusion that should be in the "Indie Games" category and not in the Arcade section
Even for 800 points is still expensive

Since when were games value based solely on the length and not the experience?

Don't go blazing through them then. If only movies were reviews this way, there wouldn't be one good movie out that was worth the price you paid in length.

I bet most would be willing to pay for a game that oozes style, has original gameplay mechanics, and looks beautiful than for a game that is longer that well, doesn't.

Games and movies are totally different concepts...:slap

You should,nt rate a movie by its length, because this is,nt important and is a totally irrelevant factor, however...would you pay 60 dollars for a game that lasts less than four hours?.. or would you rent it??

Games are too expensive for not taking into account the lenght and lasting appeal... for example, here, in Europe ( not UK) a regular game cost between 60€ and 70€ = (78$ and 90$)

I would Never pay 70€ for a game if it lasted the same as a movie, even if it was the best game ever

Don,t get me wrong...I like limbo graphics and artistic style (even if it,s more simple than you think) puzzles, mechanics and gameplay.. but 1200mp is very expensive for a game of this kind.
Perhaps 800mp would be a more fair prize.

This isn't a $60 game, it's a cheap downloadable game that is worth every penny.

Games and movies are more alike than you might think. You can watch a movie over and over again, but it's the same old movie. A game can be played through multiple times with different play through styles, have different paths and multiple endings, top that with the new wave of mutliplayer game modes so robust at times they shadow single player, DLC, and most games out nowadays give you a bargain for that $60.

You could breeze through shadow complex is a mere 2 hours if you wanted, and that game was a steal at $15.

Bought, played and beat this today. Really addicting and really fun. Frustrating in some areas too. Especially if you know what to do but have trouble.

Worth every penny.

Had never heard of this before yesterday, but the way I look at it: length does not dictate quality. So $15 for a game like this is worth every penny. Style is very simple. Atmosphere is just brilliant

Inital impressions: A M A Z I N G
