I personally think it is a new low for Sideshow. It is one thing to make a limited run of your catalog, but $100? A regular catalog is FREE. Is $100 worth the slipcase and hardcover? I don't think so. Its not like you can't get most of them to sign a regular catalog at SDCC. Besides, Dusty didn't even get to sign it. Now were is the special extended edition of DVD #4 that is $200 and reveals the SDCC items?

Well, if anything we know that not 25 have sold yet. There is no quantity alert bar.

I don't know... when the quantity was set at 100 (and several people had already ordered) there was no low quantity alert either... I wouldn't wait if I was anyone considering getting this! I have a feeling they will be gone by morning... :monkey2

Well, no problem, don't buy it. Problem solved. :peace

I'm not going to. I just really don't feel the need for a hard back edition when I can get nearly the same thing (minus the autographs for now) for Free. I admit it will be a nice piece down the road, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I hope all of those that do want one, will be able to get one though.

I'm sure most will. I completely understand, as I stated in an earlier post, this isn't for everyone, but I think enough collectors will want one to sell it out quickly.

They changed it. It used to say 125 edition size and now it says 100.

They may be holding 25 back.

When I checked out the product page first, it said "Limited Edition of 100" under the title. The text spoke of 125. I thought, they might be selling a 100, keeping 4 for the archives, and hand out the other 21 to the artists. When I checked back about an hour later, they had changed the red edition number to 125.

So... do you think that the #001/125 that is pictured will go out to some lucky collector? :monkey1

At an run of only 125, I think every one who gets a copy is a lucky (or should I say freaky?) collector!

That's why I ordered one. Awesome!!!

If you adjust the brightness and contrast of this picture... take a look at the very back of the table in about the center... :google

There are only 125 signed (and 2 unsigned proof) books worldwide and we (the Sideshow staff) don't get a copy unless we want to buy it. It's definitely not for the casual collector.

Those two ladies would be ...

Who cares? I mean who the hell are those people anyway and why would I want their autographs!?!? :cuss What have they ever done for Sideshow. :p

Now if was signed by the web team, it would be worth something! A Chicky and Dusty autographed piece is where it's at. Although I'm not sure how much Chris and Marc's signatures would devalue it. :p ;) :blissy :horror

PS. Brock's autograph is cool. Did I mention I love the Graboid? :D

There are no quantity alert bars on in-stock items - this is not a pre-order, this is a ready-to-ship item!

Yeah, I thought it was a pre-order at first since it was a "priority pre-order" but then I continued reading the newsletter and realized it was in stock. That was a bit confusing... :google

Maybe a version of the book with a web team autograph page is one of the SDCC exclusive items...

At least us web-teamers get some love from YOU guys :D Thanks lcummins, Buttmunch, Fritz, and Tom for pointing out the glaringly obvious missing signatures :p :grouphug

Yeah, it was slightly confusing, lcummins... sorry about that! We wanted it to have a special ordering window only for newsletter members, and the only way we have set up to do that is to call it Priority Pre-Order, even though it's not... it should be a little more obvious that it's in-stock on the order page now... :duff
