Its funny ‘cause when figures are more cartoony like the CCtoys there’s not much nitpicking. People are more prone to just accept them as they are. And for the most part are satisfied with them. But it’s figures like these that come so close to the real game model that you start automatically nitpicking it. It’s like we have remembered what Nate looks like and because it’s not 100% the same we get that uncanny valley feel. For me atleast. That feeling only gets confirmed as you compare it pixel by pixel to in game screenshots. I see it happen a lot with inArt figures too. They complain when the hairs on Henry Cavills hairline don’t match up 100% to that one screenshot in that one still shot in the movie . But nitpicking like that is just unreasonable.
It’s important to realise figures will never be 100% accurate. Just not feasible. 95%, like this figure is already crazy impressive. This is probably the nicest figure I will own in my entire collection, that should be more than enough of a reason to stop nitpicking it.
