Tony is probably one of the most competent, professional, and definitely one of the most brilliant sculptors in this industry. (Not that this is being disputed, I'm just stating.)

Considering the sheer volume of work he's produced, and is producing, it stands to reason there will be a few pieces that have similar poses... Half of the time a pose lends itself well to multiple characters...

Anyway, I felt compelled to write a little response. I know you guys aren't hating on Tony's work, I just wanted to comment. :D

Yes, he's very talented. I think everyone is just goofing on the similar poses but doing it in a light hearted manner. I still buy the statues.
 
Yes, I didn't mean any insult at TC when I posted. I actually like the pose on Tarzan better than I do on Abby.

I did find it funny that it almost identical. (same sweep of the leg, same bend of the knee, same twist in the arm, fingers embeded, etc). Thought it was cool to see them side by side.
