Well there is always Sideshow's Giles. You'd probably have to get a differenet shirt and tie, but you would at least have the suit and vest. Best part is the suit and vest dye very well - only some light stiching doesn't - but that can be colored over easily with paint or a sharpie or something.

Not a good choice, I got this figure for other purposes and considered that idea, but the suit feels more old professor than business man. It'll do in a pinch, but it's really not the right look for Bruce Wayne.

How would it look as a professor Indiana Jones? And would it sit well on a truetype? I've never seen it in person.

It would be a great base outfit for Professor Indy. I know many are already planning on using it with the extra Indy head coming with Indy. No idea how it fits on a True Type though.

Someone posted a pic of Wayne looking at the TDK suit from a slight distance wearing a three piece striped suit....can anyone repost?

Also Toy Soldier made a "Who's Neil?" figure, which was basically Deniro from "Heat". He came with an awesome dark blue pinstripe 3pc.

Happy hunting
That's the one I'm getting. Was only shipped last week so I'll let you know what it's like when it comes in. Probably a fortnight or more. Though I was thinking of using it for a Tony Stark, or was I? I am so confused these days.

I know one of the Triad toys DX Cole sets came with a three piece suit. I have no idead how it would look on a hot toys body though.

I dont mean to hijack this thread, but where can you find one of those though? i posted a thread looking for a waistcoat as well and found out about this figure set but i cant find it for sale anywhere.

If I remember right, Triad clothes won't fit on an HT body. Dedguy here posted about his Cleric fig needing an undershirt to cover up the fact that the coat was too short on the sleeves.

oh really? well that sucks. i was planning on using a hot toys body to make my own Cleric and i wouldve used one with the Cole waiscoat too if i found one. well thanks for that info.

The enforcer set from Triad was one of thier first mass produced items and the quality simoly wasnt there thats why it didnt fit that well on a HT body or even a Sideshow body for that matter I tried both.

The Cole DX however was hand made limited edition 200 sets made total. The tailoring should be alot better.

As for where to buy a Cole DX, you can try Ebay Triad themselves appear to be sold out. There is also Good Stuff to Go they carry alot of Triad Products and may have a Cole DX left in stock. Its not the cheapest alternative however. The set sold for 120 bucks.

Got my Neil figure in today. His head looks a little small and over tanned, and they changed it enough to not look like De Niro. It's quite a nice suit and still fits on a tru type. The jacket flares a little on the figure it came with, but not so much on a tru type. The shoulders on the tru type are much wider, so the jacket rides a little high. I think the pin striping is enough to set it off against an ordinary black or blue suit to make it pop.

I haven't read any reviews on the Saturday Toys figure to make any discerned evaluation. The Neil has some nice pin tucks sewn into the front of his trousers. I'm not sure if pin tuck is the correct description. I mean the crease that is normally ironed into trousers is sewn in place. A very nice piece of work. I thought he came with a matching vest, but it's a mesh magazine vest. I just got excited when I read vest, when I purchased it. His leather shoes are a plastic to resemble patent leather, and his laces are absurdly long. You'd want to be a surgeon to cut them shorter and re tie them.

I haven't taken it completely apart yet and fitted it onto the tru type, just the jacket, but it looks good. The body is slack, but still hold poses. The hands are also quite nice and are finer and more detailed than what comes with the Hot Toys tru type, and are easy to swap over. I mean it has tendons and veins and you can bend them into the shape you want. Whereas the tru types are fixed.

I'm quite happy with it. At $60 it may be more expensive than the Saturday Toy, but it has enough going for it to make it worth it.

Monkey Depot sells them..I saw it available a couple of weeks ago.. Blackopstoys on ebay does too..
