Were in the last season of this awesome show. And I haven't heard any companies accounce anything cool for this series. With enterbay doing 24 and prison break. What would the chances be of them doing a LOST line?? Has anybody heard of anything cool coming out??? I hope medicom doesn't pick the 1/6 license again. The Jack shephard they came out with wasn't that great.

I have this for sale

Unfortunately no one have made 1/6 figures from lost which is a shame...The Main Characters from Lost are some of my most wanted figures right now.

They showed an 8 inch or so, line last year during SDCC, apparently as exclusives for EE...
nothing has surfaced...
As much as I love the show, most of the characters would be rather lame as action figures IMO...

Repainted the Medi Jack is actually pretty solid.

edit: That said I wouldn't pay retail for it. I bought the head and the suit off of NightCreeper.

I assume you've perused through the LOST thread in the custom section?

Hot Toy's should do it! :lecture

My wallet would hate me, but I would be happy! :D

Big Bang Pow are doing figures. Like MEGOs, and they suck. . . tremendously.

The first figures are Hurley in his bathrobe from the mental institution and Ben in his Others disguise, tatttered clothes. Ridiculous choices.

McFarlane drove this licenese into the ground, and really showed how much of a lack of interest there is. Just because a show is popular doesn't mean a line of action figures will be successful.

I don't think Lost warrants a giant mass market line. But I think a low edition collector targeted series would do well.

I'd have agree. The series will have no lasting effect on media or pop culture in general. The second the finale airs everyone will forget about one of the greatest serialized television series of all time and there will be no interest at all in any memorabilia or merchandise at all.... /sarcasm

But seriously I think a well done collector targeted line would do well.
The mistake was thinking that the mass market wanted a Charlie sitting on a log on their desk.

Easy there. :lol

I'm not putting the show down, I'm just saying that if a company was going to put some real effort into a 1:6 Lost line, they would have done it by now. Why wait until after the show is done to do something? Then again I could be wrong, maybe Enterbay will pick up the license. :dunno

I get what your saying. It's far from it's prime ratings wise. But I don't think the ship has sailed quite yet for a solid line. If done right.... Case in point the BBP ones. Those, not a good idea.

LOST has entered cult status already. That will likely only grow as the whole series can be purchased on DVD/bluray.

Anything with cult status has the potential to do well with a collector targeted line.

I know I would buy the heck out of them! :lecture

On the other hand, maybe I'm in the minority in that I am a LOST follower and an action figure collector...

A lot of good points. And it's hard to say if a LOST line would do well. However if enterbay has the balls to come out with prisonbreak, mr bean, and those LAME dragonball figures. Why not a LOST line???? Enterbay seems to be picking some strange licenses that's for sure!!!!

As far as the mcfarlane series that came out. I loved em. They had phrases from the show. Pretty cool I thought. Those mego style figures. Wow what a waste huh??
