Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

I was never really happy with my first scarecrow so I decided to make another one. Thanks Angry fetus for the advice on the tubing holder.

Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

Good stuff, buddy! The heavy stitching on the coat looks great with the sculpt. Looks like a great addition to your villains!

Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

Dig your Scarecrow, Lt! The larger buckles and patches are a great touch!

Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

Nice work on Scarecrow mate !!!

Love the coat with patches on :)

You will add a dry brush on the head to highlight the texture ?

Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

I dig what you did with Scarecrow, especially the work on the coat. Having the rips in the fabric repaired with a thick thread and patches is a nice touch.

Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

Loving your Bat villains, I'm a Bat fan too, in no small part as I think he has the best villains! Freeze and Scarecrow are excellent...I would echo what everyone has said about Scarecrow and the heavy stitching and patches and how great it looks and how well it matches the head sculpt...I think it looks great without the hat too as it shows off the stitches on the head sculpt which brings it all together beautifully. :hi5:

...also, can i ask was the fur on Penguins coat originally brown and how did you get it black?

Thanks for the compliment. I like it both ways as well the hat is creepy looking so I let him rock it. Penguins coat I dyed it and it took to the fur well. The coat is a really dark green now but u really need to look at it to notice. I agree bats roughes are the best out their.

You dyed it?! Mind if I ask what dye you used? I tried to dye mine and it just didn't take...made the green ever so slightly darker but that was it! I've ended up using watered down acrylics on the coat but left the fur alone....really would like it to be black though!

It's called I-dye I found it my local art store. It's good stuff.

Re: lt0778 kitbashes and custom figures (scarecrow v.2)

Hello sir. I was just creeping around the board an saw your thread an practically went page, by page, through the entire thread. I just gotta say your collection (and skills) are quite impressive. Huge Bat-Fan as well. Love the Mister Freeze and the rest of your Rogue's Gallery. As for Scarecrow, where can one find his finger syringes?

Thanks haven't updated in a while but the syringes were made from pen tops and small needles. Basically scratch built.
