So GG scanned Mark Hamill 30 years ago? They borrowed Marty McFly's DeLorean or something?

I was getting ready to post the exact same thing. GG doesn't have the ability to use scanning for the sculpts from the old films.

The SS Luke sculpt looks almost perfect to me. Check out the pics where the flash doesn't drown out the detail such as this one:
