Er, that either.

Dean Martin asking Frank Sinatra to stop singing: Hold it, hold it.

Frank Sinatra's response: Not me! I ain't gonna hold it!

10 left...

So, at 1150, is this a fast sell-thru or not?

Yes, I'd say it is at $350, Leia took about the same amount of time @ $275 Es 1000, Vader sold out in about 10 days @ $350 as I recall with an ES of 2000.

Edit: When SSC set the Edition size @ 1150 without warning yesterday, it took off fast, smart on their part.

I was hoping they would have included Yoda whiskers though, would have been so cool and easy to do.

I agree that this should be considered a fast sellout. $350 is a hefty price tage, and there are plenty of the first Luke PFs out there already for a great price. 1150 of these in a week is pretty good!

Agreed and agreed, but this is a two-pack, the first two-pack and as I mentioned earlier the Only Luke with a Yoda, maybe the only PF Yoda and the only cracked Vader helmet we'll ever see in 1/4 scale.

So I think a lot of collectors got the message when the ES was announced and realized it was a much better value than originally thought.

I, for one, could care less about the edition size (although I think 1138 would've been a more clever size than 1150). I bought this exclusive solely on the basis that it is an iconic, powerful statue and the exclusive is nothing short of amazing.

eBay values have little meaning to me. I buy these items because I like them and want them...not to resell for a profit.

Theres is also a 2 piece limit, which is most likely helping sales. If the price was lower I wouldn't care about the edition size. Its like the LOTR UC stuff open editions, but you can get the items half of retail which is great. Sideshow you pay retail but the problem is on high editions the item loses value upon shipping. I think the same will happen with this Luke since it has already with the 1st PF LUke. I'm stilling getting the piece but I'm looking for the best price. Yes its a gamble if the price goes up, but I dont see that happening.

The last few PF Regular PF Lukes have been going for around $100.00 on ebay which is insane. Thats a $150.00 savings. I still think thats a problem, its a bad sign. The items are either over priced or the editions are to high. Add this with another Luke coming out, the prices will be going lower.

The new Luke looks excellent, but way pay top dollar? I dont care about the edition size I just want to get the best price for the piece.

I think a lot of that has to do with the pain apps on Luke as well. Same with the regular Han going for pretty cheap. If they looked like the protos their value would be much higher IMO.

It's a totally different ballgame when talking about exclusives. All of the exclusives have held their value or gone up. All of the regulars have dipped in value. You can go to any etailer and get the regular for under $300 right now. And you'll probably be able to get it for $250 after it starts shipping. But we're not talking about the regulars, we're talking about the exclusive. I would never buy a non-exclusive direct from SS becuase it doesn't make any sense when you can go to one of the great etailers and save a lot of money.

I agree with you 100%. I don't ever plan on selling anything that I own or have on order. I am going to start to be a little more picky when it comes to exclusives and whether I should get them from SS or go to an etailer and save money by getting the regular version.

Very true, although I get my 12" regs from SS because I am too impatient to wait for the dealers to get it and send it to me. :p I wonder if the rewards program will make us want to spend more money to buy direct and get the points. If so, that'll be one heckuva rewards program.

It will be very interesting to see how they handle the rewards program. I really wish we could get a little more info on it (hint, hint Dusty). I feel bad for those that have dropped small fortunes into SS already.

Yeah, the regulars have dropped but I don't see that as a big deal. As long as they make it too my house intact and looking awesome that's my main concern. I don't plan on selling them so their overall value isn't a major issue with me because I think when you're concerned with the value collecting quits being fun. That's how collecting Sports Cards got with me. I loved collecting them but got to the point I was more worried about the value than what I was getting. So I quite collecting them.
