Lyndsay Conner: New leader of the Résistance

Well after seeing Terminator Salvation, I was inspired to make
this figure for the next film and now have a complete vision on
where this figure is going to end up.

Back-story: John & Kate Connor have a daughter.
Lyndsay Connor, leader of the new resistance and warrior against
the machines. Trained by her father she becomes the first second
generational resistance leader, signified by the red band on her arm
and a second on her opposing leg. She also carry's her father's rifle
of choice as she can operate both old school and new.
Instrumental in the development of new EMP weapons to fight against
the machines. With her trusty high powered compound bow, she launches
her Electro-magnetic-pulse arrows at the machines, where on impact an
EMP burst disables their operating system.

They are on a Hot Toys body, with customized leather & vinyl outfit,
weapons harness and more. They will include our modified Milla head.
They will both have the signature John Connor assault rifle from the movie,
her compound bow with arrows & quiver, along with 2 revolvers & 2 EMP grenades.

Some of my friends and regular customers liked her so much, they
starting bidding to see who could get her. So instead of having some
bad blood, I decided to make 5 of them .

Here's some pictures of a few of the unfinished figures.
She'll have an almost bald head with stubble and then also some wigs.

Looks really good so far!

I even recognize a bit of "daddy's" features in the headsculpt. Don't know if it was deliberate but she has some of Bale's features IMO

John Connor and Kate Brewster are their character names.
But it's not Claire Danes from the last movie. I guess it's just
to hard to make her look old enough to go with Bale...

Yes, a character from the next Terminator film.
We used our Milla head, she will be bald with stubble and
maybe have a wig like the pictures I just posted. But
if Josh's stubble is as good as I think it will be, then the
hair/wig will never be put on.

Yet, they kept throwing out those films every few years.
Most garbage until this last one, which brought to life an
almost dead market.

Though Terminator Salvation only broke even in the states. The
overall overseas revenue, did very welll. So as long as the world keeps paying, the
studio will milk it for as much as they can.
So since Kate was pregnant in this last film. They set it up to
play for the future films.

I agree. There will definitely be more terminator movies. Its all buisness.And terminator salvation actually did pretty well. anyone who thinks otherwise isnt very smart. Great figure! It might even look better without hair!

EDIT: But in the next movie christian bale will be the main star! And probably in T6 as well! I doubt they will incorporate the child being the savior instead of connor.

yeah, but the terminator saga is kind of like star wars, when the prequels came out, every body knew what was going to happen in the movie. John connor definitely leads the resistance to victory in 2029. I think they put Blair Williams in the movie to be the bad @ss girl solider!

Everyone is either sueing or getting sued. Bale lost some rep points with that, critics and people hated it....theres a ton of issues.

That's cool. It really did look like Bale in the original sculpt. I thought it was a 'recast' that was modified or something.

I'm relieved to see it doesn't look like C. Bale in drag after paints though. (looks kinda Francis Fisher-y)

Shame on you, we don't do recast. Not to generalize, but
people in Singapore recast our original sculpts...

Our Selene has already done several recast
over there that I found searching the net.

Every sculpt here is made custom.

Got the heads back from Josh Small, but he couldn't paint them.
It took 4 1/2 months to find that out. We didn't have any issues
with painting them here.

Sorry it took so long. Here she is, the Lyndsay Connor Custom #1 figure painted by Reggie Monroe.

I added a custom made wig in a wine color with white highlights.
I weathered and dulled down the vinyl with flat clear coat.

She's really cool and I like her story but I think she should be wearing pants. It's not very practical for a leader of a human rebellion against evil cyborgs in a post-apocalyptic future world to wear a mini-skirt. Just my two cents.

And I personally LOVED T: Salvation but I heard it did horrible and the people who own the rights to Terminator were auctioning it off because of the huge financial losses it caused. I even heard Joss Whedon offered $100 for it. But don't ask me to offer a source. That's just what my brother told me and I don't know where he got his info from.
