Dear Valued Collector,

Thank you for your pre-order of our Mûmak of Harad (item #9334) from our Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Collection. We appreciate your patience in waiting for the arrival of this Limited Edition, item and we would like to inform you that the item will be arriving in our Los Angeles warehouse within approximately the next 20-25 days

Even though I like it this will be a cancel way to much stuff coming.

Yeah, got my notice too....And I am also going to cancel....SERIOUSLY WAY TOO MUCH STUFF COMING!!!

You can guarantee it. This one will bomb just like the Haradhrim and others. Although, technically it's a great sculpt, I don't believe it has the 'oomph" that most collectors are looking for.

Yeah, the price on this will definitely go down. The ES is somewhat decent, but many people just don't like it. The only reason I'm not getting it off of Ebay is because the howdah looks extremely fragile. I can see many of those snapping off in transit.

Still not sold out thru Sideshow yet, either.

I'm canceling mine as well. No room, and don't have the extra to drop $300 on it, with X-Mas, buying a new vehicle, and all.

Maybe later on, I will go after it, but for now...nah.

VERY true!!
This was one, when SS announced it, I was excited until I saw the pic and that scale..............:sick
Thanks but no thanks!

All they had to do is leave it standing up and this would have been a top 5 piece for me!!!

Too bad......

Yupp, I agree. I like it till I see the side view and it falling over, looks lame.

If it was a charging pose it would of been perfect, even at the smaller size.

The pose kills it.

Jesse feels different than I and he saw it at SDCC. I really feel though that this one will impress several doubters when it arrives to people's homes. It's actually pretty nice and the pose is kind of powerful in a way IMO. As far as the scale it's a pretty decent sized piece. If you think it's small you probably haven't seen it in person.

One Pic from Chuck as well

Lame pose I being nice!

This thing reeks lame and for $300!!!! OUCH…………

If I can pick this up on the secondary market for well under $200, just like Gothmog, I MIGHT think about getting this one…………

Sad, real sad as this DID have potential……..

I can't wait until the Mumak ships! I've always liked it to begin with and I like it more everytime I look at it.

I can definetly see people's arguments about wanting a living Mumak. Especially when the Haradhrim is in a dying pose as well. It's odd that that culture was only represented in death.

I would have rather had a charging Mumak with it's head slanted down but it's not a big deal. Thinking of the Mumakil in the film I do always think about how each one was taken down by the Rohan which this statue portraits. I'll be keeping my order for this one. :D

I personally don't mind the pose much, I enjoyed watching those mammoth (pun intended) war machines falling in battle. I do however anticipate prices falling to about the G/SF and Gothmog range, so I am waiting until that happens to jump in.

I think, when displayed next to the other statues, especially next to Gothmog where I'm putting mine, it'll look quite dramatic, more dramatic then if it were just stood there. The detailing in that last photo looks superb. Luckily this is coming to us EU'ers well after xmas so we won't have to cancel!

Well, if it's on schedule it should ship this week. If they ship on Friday, I should get it sometime on Saturday, December 31st--the last day of 4th Quarter 2005, and on time according to the original release date! Of course, we'll have to see what the holiday weekend does to their shipping/receiving speed this week. Being an optimist, I am hoping for a nice New Year's present from Sideshow next weekend! I shall have an extra party hat ready just in case I am able to welcome the new year with my bloody and dying mumak sitting alongside the chips and salsa.
