I on the other hand was thoroughly underwhelmed by GOTG at the cinema and liked it well enough on second viewing the other night in the comfort of home. Not an amazing film by any means but decent enough.

I finally was able to see it again in theaters, surprisingly it's still screening around here, loved it even more than the 1st time, I think it deserves a 10/10 this time around, man oh man I need some figures of this

Just read the comics, it's funny how they panned out exactly as I imagined, the movie really does a good job of showing not telling when you can picture the backstories by yourself.
So, while I liked them, I'm pretty sure I could've done without them, at least without the Furiosa one, I had that one down completely, the Immortan Joe one was informative since I don't remember anything in the movie that gave away his past, save for the medals on his armor.

After the apocalypse, he got himself a nice biker gang, with his fellow soldiers as lieutenants, the bullet farmer back then was Major Kalashnikov, and the dude with the metal nose from gas town, they started going around killing other gangs, increasing their ranks until someone told them about the citadel, who was occupied by I don't remember who, another gang, they went there and besieged the citadel for a while, they made an incursion, days later Joe came out victorious, his victory in the citadel earned him the nick name "Immortan".
