Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

The pose looks really odd, but the sculpt is really awesome.
Too bad it's a statue, I would kil for a 1/6 scale goose figure!

You should offer casting of the boots, bracers and helmet.

Nice work.

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

Thanks for the compliment, elvis 1976. The reason I got this guy is that I could not find any Goose figure. I have been a motorcycle nut for long time and I believe Goose is one of the most memorable biker characters of all time.

Here is nuther pic.

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

Looks good. Agree on offering casts of the parts Elvis mentioned.

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

Yes that looks really good, you should seriously offer the head with helmet, boots and gauntlets.

I really like what i'm seing.

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

Thanks for the kind words, EVILFACE(I like your avatar by the way) and elvis 1976. I don't know if I can offer the cast of those parts at this moment. I am still dicking around with this figure bit. If I were to mold and cast, what should I use to do that? My experience with mold stopped at plaster in college....Never really messed with resin.

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

Nice piece...I agree with the fellas here. Many years ago I collected nothing but resin kits, but now went onto the 1/6 figures with real clothing. If you were to offer the parts as Elvis mentioned, would be alot of members here all over that list.

I used plaster many years ago for big statues, but never small 1/6 scales...I now switched from resin to plastic on my heads which is alot better...It is a harder type like something hot toys does.

If you ever want to have the parts casted, I be up for it for you...

Great work!

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

'that thing in there, thats not the Goose'..
Actually it looks pretty darn good.

Oh yeah, Kundaleanie wants his hand back!

Re: MAD MAX/ROAD WARRIOR Thread

Thanks for all the kind words, guys! I appreciate that.

"Jimmy the Goose, larger than life and twice as ugly!"

I wish I could have 1/6 scale MFP Kwaka Z1000 to go with the figure...I have been researching but not successful so far. Found these while I was dicking around with internet. It was displayed at 2010 Spring Wonder festival in Japan. Seems like one garage kit company has produced conversion kit for Kawasaki plastic models. Unfortunately these seems to go to 1/12 scale bike model...
