My TDKR and Hush Batman figures arrived from HLJ last week, and I opened them up this weekend. Both are great figures! I love the bulkiness of the TDKR figure (he replaced an old DC Collectibles figure I had) and the Hush figure looks awesome too (though that enormous cape took a LOT of futzing). I tried to emulate two different full-page panels from each figures' respective comics, so hopefully I did a good enough job posing them that you guys will instantly recognize which ones.

I only wish the chest of Hush bats was larger and the joint less pronounced.

I also wish the Hush figure's chest joint was less noticeable, but it looks especially bad in the lighting of the shot I shared above. It typically isn't nearly that noticeable!

Honestly, as cool as he looks, it’s the thought of a Jim Aparo Knightfall Batman that makes me straight-up moist. And I’m a dude. Suffice it to say, I’m 100% in on everything MAFEX. I just don’t want them biting off more than they can chew and getting ADHD about their existing lines. We still need TDKR Supes, Armored Batman, and, if I had my way, an Oliver Queen and a Harvey Dent, as well. I also really want to see Nightwing, Ivy, and Huntress from Hush.

That has to be a mistake, it's not supposed to come out until February. Still not released in Japan and several other Mafex figures ahead of it in line.

I think Fwooshers confirmed that BBTS screwed up and started shipping out Dark Knight Returns Batmans as Black Hush Batmans. Yeeesh. That's embarrassing.

Mafex just seems all over the place with their Batman line...where the hell did AzBats come from?

I just started my comprehensive rewatch of B:TAS and I really, really want them to do the original design Batman. I'd grab it in a heartbeat. I like The New Adventures and all, but it just isn't as classic to me as the original. But with the way they seem to be pulling names out of a hat, I don't know if they'll ever get around to it. Not to mention their glaaaacccciiiiaaaalllllllllll release pace.
