Yeah I was just thinking the same thing - what gives with the extra $100 for these. It's not like they have gotten any bigger

actually I believe the higher the run...the cheaper it is to produce...lower runs cost more to make apparently.

I agree with you guys completely, SS I think is price pointing themselves out of profit and therefore limiting their run size.
Comiquette prices have inflated at 20% pa over the last 2 1/2 years, nearly to the price of PF's which is a rip off.
Undersized and overpriced = instock and warehouse...
That's a super low number which could explain the high price.

What in the hell is wrong with me?
I still don't have this on order. I just can't seem to bite the bullet. I love the character of Illyana, and this is a beautiful rendition of her.
I know that if it were 1/4 scale then I wouldn't have hesitated for a second. I was able to purchase the Vampirella Com at this price point, but Illyana isn't going over quite as well in my mind.
It also doesn't help that I have about 16 things on pre-order right now. That's always in the back of my head telling me to calm the hell down with these things.
Someone nudge me one way or the other?

Yeah, I think I was fine with the high price point for Vampirella because it was a new license for them, and it has that really awesome base. This one, however, doesn't seem worth the price. Which is a damn shame due to how much I love Illyana.
I think that I've hit my ceiling. Unless it's some must-die-for piece, or the complexity of the statue justifies it then I'd say that I'm out with these prices on the 1/5 scale statues.

I love her too but can't pull the trigger on this piece. I had such high hopes, but I just don't like it. I don't like the hands groping her and the funky soul sword.

I have the same problem right now. That being said I am not a fan of this or the Colossus PF so it is a pass from me.
