Would a HT belt work for a substitution?

Possibly. But I really do like the Takara belt. And I want to keep it as much Takara as I can. I'm gonna see what I can rig up as a fastener in back to give it a little more length.


Am I crazy in thinking that the "V" shape is a bit too extreme? It kind of looks like he's squeezed in the middle:

If anything I'd say you may have went too far with the bulk in the shoulders and upper arms. For example, in the pic above the left arm looks to be the same width as the head... So maybe less up top is your solution? Just looking at the head and torso I think his proportions are spot on.

I made sure to not put any cotton in the lateral deltoid area. The Takara just has really wide shoulders for some reason.
