I attribute the price increase to the needless enhancements on the base.

Magneto himself looks great though

The base I can deal with. The CoH looks amazing I will admit. But to me the let down is Magneto's body. It just doesn't look like him from the comics. And I'm not talking about the modernized costume he looks too scrawny like the Deathstroke PF.

I haven’t seen Deathstroke in person yet

But it will be interesting to see this on Sideshow live

I’m not really disappointed by the price or anything else on the piece.

It’s a bit of a blessing in disguise

I don’t have the space for a lot of the 12 days unveils and Magneto is something I’ve wanted for the past 8 years. The paint is the only thing that could ruin the excitement.

I can’t wait to see the Thundercats now.

I feel content with my collection now

Mattel cancelled their stellar Thundercat toy line prematurely due to poor sales...

But Apparently Mumm Ra received the most interest in their 12 days poll

Sideshow is a bigger company than PCS

PCS got away with releasing the main 2

I think it would be stupid not to do Panthro and Cheetara

Tygra from PCS looked amazing ...

I hope they release at least 4 pieces like they did with MOTU

Tygra could be re-released as a Ben Gali variant for next years Spooktacular

I think you'd like it. I saw one the other day on He-Man. There's only 4 episodes so far, but I'm sure a Thundercats episode will come along.

Maybe they transposed the numbers and it is supposed to be $570?? Just kidding.

But they'll get away it. People will still buy it.

Not trying to defend Sideshow, but the Exclusive will eventually sell out, then the regular. And then that'll continue to justify the price point because it sells.

Interestingly enough, I'm not saying collectors took a stand with the Swamp Thing piece, but I think SS got rocked a bit with that one. I'm willing to bet the low ES is in part a reflection on the lack of POs due to the high price point - which I think turned a lot of people away.

Yeah, check it out. They have a Star Wars ep, Barbie ep, He-Man ep, and one other. About an hour long each. REALLY insightful stuff - takes you from birth of the toy line to its current status.
