Magneto, Master of Magnetism

Hey guys,

Wanted to show you a recent custom I made: Magneto.
Went for a more real world-look (not too comic book-y) and kept it simple.

It's not finished yet; needs some finishing touches, have to paint the belt etc, but let me know what you think

Love it !!!
The head fit perfectely to Magnus. the outfit is realistic and sober.
Couple of suggestion :
- the gold belt remind too much Batman
- the red/purple helmet and armbraces are too bright, it doesn't match with the rest of the costume.
maybe repaint them darker.

- cape: Hasbro Vader
- boots: Sideshow Palpatine
- outfit: HT Kevin Flynn
- belt: HT Batman
- red 'bandolier': HT Ezio Auditore
- hands: HT Thor

Thanks for the suggestions, mate. I had indeed planned to repaint the belt with more red, black and purple touches.
The brightness of the helmet and armor is better in real life; in the pics it's too bright indeed.

If I can track down another helmet, I'm also gonna try to do a First Class Magneto, with the grey/black & silver helmet...

Now take the exact opposite of what I wrote above. You do some really good custom work. Very well done. One of the best representations of Magneto I have ever seen. Bravo!

I agree about the belt, it reminds me too much of Batman and could use a repaint, but other then that he looks amazing. Great work.

Awesome bash. Instead of repainting the belt.....I would just completely lose it. It would give it a much cleaner look IMO. Looks great otherwise.
