Hey all!

Forgive me for asking this, as I am a newbie to 1/6th customizing, but is there any way of extending the legs on Hot Toys Truetype narrow shoulder body? I thought I'd heard someone mention leg extenders before, but I can't seem to find it now... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

James

Cut the thighs in half, and glue them back with a piece of wood or anything that can serve as an extension in between them. They don't have to look pretty if they are being covered up with pants.

I don't know if I want to go that drastic on it... I wanted to use the foot pegs from the T2 T-800 Terminator, but they seem impossible to find. I am giving thought to altering an existing foot peg using a dowel rod to wide the peg between the 2 spheres. Does anyone have the T2 T-800 foot pegs handy that they can measure for me so that I know what length I should be shooting for?

I think cutting the thigh is your safest bet. The spheres might not be as strong as it should once it's assembled, it might break depending on where you cut, cause these pegs needs a bit of pressure to snap back on the feet and the ankle.

If you can track down and Ezio body it has ankle extenders. You can put pull the calf off at the knee and just swap them.

might be hard to find now.

Kinda wonder why none of the smaller companies has'nt come up with some ankle cup extnders just to vary the sizes a little for us kitbashers
