Thanks to all. I wasn't sure what people would think of it since not many people ever even knew it was supposed to be like that. No company has ever produced this character with accurately colored armor, probably because silver is just easier.

Thanks again. I can't wait to do my Pred now as this set of armor is now on its way to GODZILLA95.

And here is the Pred armor to end all Pred armor. When I do mine, I will be doing all the mods in this thread, as well as quills for an alternate head and a full body repaint Steve Wang style. When I do my mask though, I will be painting the blast marks on the Ex mask where they are carved into the original for even more screen accuracy. I'll also be adding blood to his left leg.

I knew there would be at least one person to say it was overdone. To that I say look at the reference pics I used.

And yes, I do intend to eventually do this to the maquette, but not anytime soon.

Holy crap, I just noticed something in that picture with the thigh armor. This Pred has quills all over his body, even down his leg. Damn! Good thing I've got tons of those quills left.

Holy Sh^^!!!!!!!!!! That looks AWESOME. I can't wait to get the armor and put it on one of my P1s. IMO it is in no way, shape, or form overdone. Luv it. Surfer also put some quills on a P1 head for me. I'll post some pics when I get everything set up.:chew:chew

Excellent work Silent! I just got my P1 today and I'm thinking about doing the same. I'll have to get accustomed to using an airbrush though as I usually only work with brushes.
