The man broke the law by invading into a private area (the restaurant).
They had every right to grab him and not let him go, it's called citizen's arrest.
You know, she wasn't at a premier there, or on the red carpet. This idea that just because they are famous they somehow "choose" to sell their entire life is ridiculous.
Everybody is entitled to some privacy and this ********* got a lot less than he deserved for braking the rules.

Sorry the chance of getting any charges pressed unless they told him to leave first are pretty much zero. And by grabbing the guy they just open themselves up to a bigger issue, especially when your being filmed. I have a few friends who do security for celebs and they know unless the person is threatened just to keep hands off. There are still lots of body guards, hell bouncers too who have no idea what legal rights they really have.

And for the idea of a citizens arrest they didnt do a single thing required by law to preform a citizens arrest.

Because all the celeb dirt mags will pay $ sometimes big $ for those pics. If you knew what they pay for some of these just regular everyday pics you would be shocked.

I know they pay a lot but I was more meaning why would us "regular" people buy a magazine with a picture of Megan Fox eating at a restaurant? I just don't get it.

You would have to ask the millions of primarily women that buy this crap at the grocery store. :lecture

I really don't get why people are so interested in celebs that they drive up the market for random shots of them eating or sitting having a conversation. People really focus on them far too much, they are just regular people who have a high profile job. Many actors just want to work, and to be as low key as possible. Not everyone is a media whore like Paris Hilton or others.

People like this photographer make life a living Hell for actors and other famous people, which really can sometimes lead them towards darker impulses to deal with the constant BS.

I mean, people always say... "Well, they are famous...it comes with the territory." But think about it in respects to your own life. I know that if figure art was high profile, yet I still wanted to do it desperately... I still would. And yeah, I'd get pretty damn annoyed by the constant slew of paparazzi and crazies. I would just want to do my damn job and live my life.

People need to give Celebs a break. I think they should just make it illegal, call it a form of stalking and be done with it. Cameras belong on the red carpet or another function, not in everyday life.

Lucky for you that will never happen. :lol

These people LOVE the attention. They chose the job, the job didn't choose them. I hate those celebrity shows and magazines but they are and will always be a part of their life. I am always reminded of the principle that states for every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. In this case. They have a great paying job which gives them fame and respect and in turn the reaction is they have to put up with the invasion of privacy. They can't have it all... since they already have more than most anyway.

If I was an abortion doctor I would get death threats from Pro Life freaks, if I was a terrorist I would have governments breathing down my neck, if I was a doctor I would have to watch my back constantly and have insurance up the wazoo, if I was a janitor I would smell and be disrespected on the daily. The job becomes you as sad as it is. These people have to make sacrifices and forgo a "normal" life due to their profession. They should either learn to eat in or go to a more private establishment.

If it was me I would understand and if I wanted privacy I would do like Johnny Depp and escape to France or an island. :lol

Paparazzi are leeches that make their living off of the fame of celebrities.

I find it quite ironic and pathetic that the paparazzi outside of the restaurant are obviously upset about this guy who took the photos inside because of some "code" of conduct. :lol

They are leeches sure but many celebs make 10x more off the pics they take then the paparazzi made for the pic. Many of these especially females get all kinds of free clothes jewelry, bags, etc... based on the fact that they will have there pic taken by the paparazzi.

There is a semi code of conduct, most of then will all do they same thing and hope for the best pic but there is always a few that will go the extra mile to try and get the pic. surprising the worst are the female paparazzi they will try and play off that they are not paparazzi and try to sneak in everywhere.
