Pretty much. Superman will be Clark for 99% of the time, Lex will show up for a brief cameo before the actor who plays him ODs (causing a buttload of weirdos to shave their heads and buy $1k customs of him), Ma and Pa Kent will abandon Clark but that's okay, because he'll abandon Metropolis to run off with Ursa anyway, but he'll make sure to leave his suit and the Fortress of Solitude to Jimmy Olsen.

Clark will as Superman, but only during the total 20 minutes screentime he's in the suit throughout the whole trilogy.

The man has yet to disappoint in anything that he's done. There hasn't been a film before this that he co-wrote but didn't direct though as far as i'm aware.
So potential for failure is very much there

Saw the trailer before the DKR and I have to say I am now excited for this movie.

Memento? The Prestige? They sucked. Inception was tight as were BB and TDK.

That's interesting. The trailer has a very similar quality to the Superman Returns teaser.
Still, it was fantastic for a teaser. Loved the music. In the scene where Clark is walking on the side of the road, he looks like an older version of Tom Welling.
I guess i'm not digging this trailer, because everyone hated Superman Returns because it was boring.
This trailer needed to be 1:30 of crazy Snyder action.
