Interesting thing showed up after all this time... We've seen fakes of Nick Cage as Superman, here's finally pics from a real costume test. The suit is better than the disco fiber optic thing, but it's still Nick Cage and would've sucked.

Strange that it has a cape and looks pretty faithful to the comic... not at all what Kevin Smith described.

The suit looks good, well except for the Speedo shorts. I guess Cage would have wore a wig. I think Supes had his mullet going at the time.

Agreed. It doesn't look nearly as awful as that other picture people always post of him. I like Nic Cage, but Superman? Really?

I don't see nips on that suit, if anything it's like the '89 Batman suit plus the new Man Of Steel costume.

Suit looked cool. So that one thing from a few years back really was a fake? And yeah, that looks nothing like the crappy light up thing they had tests for.

I dig the suit, not sure about Cage as Supes though.
