And i'm watching Superman the Motion Picture right now, and it's still great. Because the story and characters hold up. So.

Critic's reviews don't mean ka ka to me. It's the hipster cool thing to do right now to pile on the hate for MOS.

The fact that some reviewers are saying that it has too much action and destruction tells you how absolutely ridiculous some of these "fans" are.

Stick to Singer's no action/Routh lovefest, and dated 70's Superman, problem solved.

MOS for the 21st century.

It's true. We got our 3D tickets(by mistake) for $10 a piece.

yeah apparently $5 was the employee rate, and they ran out of 2d tickets... Oh well guess Im going Saturday, not up for Midnight showings anymore...

I mean come on people. You haven't seen the movie yet. Only a handful have, and they're basically saying what the critics are saying.

Go see it, make your own opinion. Critics only exist to help people decide what they want to spend their money on. If you're really gun ho about seeing Man of Steel, no review is going to stop you. If you're on the fence about it, it'll make the decision easier to take.

The older superman movies have so many leaps in logic, errors and inconsistencies that its amazing superman 1 and 2 are well received by critics. The stupidest thing about the spinning of the earth backwards is it should have erased everything that happened in the both superman 1 and the donner cut of superman 2. Bryan singers movie is supposed to follow the events of RD's superman 2 but somehow Lois is still pregnant even though superman undid everything that happened in that film. His sperm should have reversed out like perry whites tooth paste goes back in the tube. They kept and chose whatever the **** they wanted to persist through the time reversal. If you think about anything while watching those movies they turn into dog ****, best to suspend all belief and just enjoy.

I find that theres only so much disbelief I can suspend. Some things are just too ridiculous. For that reason I can only enjoy the Reeve Superman films now for his performance alone.

By the way what is the correct expression in this context - suspend belief or suspend disbelief. I think its the latter.

Yeah, if the movie truly sucks then Snyder/Nolan/Goyer deserve their lumps and the movie deserves to lose money.

Words cannot describe how excited I am. Saw one of the latest trailers when to see Iron man 3 & as lame as it sounds, I got emotional. I was TOO excited to see it on a big screen. This movie is going to rule my life.

Lets go see it!

Face it, the movie is not an EPIC fest of awesomeness, nor the best superhero movie ever made.
It's just "ok".
Enjoy it for what it is I guess.
